What is causing this hollow indentation and fold on my medial upper eyelid? Medial Canthal Webbing? (Photos)
Hi im 19, I have skin picking disorder where I will pull and pick at my skin. Very recently I have been pulling on my eyelids (Only have been doing it a couple minutes for like 4 days) and i’m afraid I could have caused damage to the lower inner corner of my upper eyelid. There is a small asymmetrical “dent” on one corner and surrounding it on the outer edge is a strange fold that looks like loose, stretched out skin when I raise my eyebrows creating something reminiscent to a epicanthal fold, when static it just looks lighter then the surrounding skin it. Part of it goes past the medial canthus onto my under eye, is this medial cathal webbing caused by trauma due to pulling on the upper corner of my upper eyelid or could I have permanently stretched out the skin? Is there any non-surgical way to get rid of this fold and the dent, or can it go away on its own? To be fair, this could be just a normal anatomical asymmetry that I just never noticed until now. it’s very hard to explain what i’m talking about but it has really been bothering me. Thank you!
