Can I wear a tank top to bed 10 days after breast augmentation?

Congratulations on your breast augmentation surgery.  It is important that your surgical bra not be too tight and compressing your breasts in an uncomfortable manner.  In my practice if patients are comfortable I encouraged him to not wear a bra at all to allow the implants to move.  I think the tank top is a reasonable alternative, but I am not your surgeon and would urge her to call the surgeons office to ask if you can make this change.

I would recommend you ask your surgeon what their opinion is. If the sports bra is irritating your incisions that isn’t a good thing. However, if you’ve been advised to wear a sports bra then you should continue to do so. You may want to try a different bra or keep the strap off of your incision somehow. 

The recommendations will vary depending on your surgeons practice and experience. It is my advise you follow his recommendations.  In my practice I recommend my patients use a special support bra without any underwire or push up for the first four weeks at all times.
