What causes the water filled pockets under the eyes from Voluma? How do I get it fixed? Can it be fixed?

I'm very sorry to hear that you aren't pleased with the results of your recent Voluma treatment. It's difficult to make exact recommendations without reviewing your photos or assessing you in-person. That being said, at times, fillers injected under the eyes or in the central cheeks can sometimes block lymphatic drainage, causing persistent swelling. I would recommend that you follow-up with your doctor, or with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss possibly dissolving some of your filler with hyaluronidase. Please keep in mind that it may take more than one session of hyaluronidase injections to fully dissolve your Voluma. I hope this helps!

This can happen due to the tendency of the filler and our eyelids to absorb water after a filler injection in the upper cheek or into the lower lid itself. The filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase injections and this should help with the problem .
