Answer: Drooping Columella Thank you for writing to RealSelf. The simple answer is that a drooping or hanging columella or excessive columellar show is a fixable condition. To decide how much of a correction you need or which method to use to correct the condition, you need to see a rhinoplasty surgeon for an in person consultation.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Consultation Thank you for sharing your question and photos. The short answer is yes, the columella can be addressed with a surgical rhinoplasty. However, it is difficult to say how easily this can be done without a proper in-person evaluation. Based on the photos you provided alone, you appear to be a great candidate for the procedure. Please schedule a consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon for more specific recommendations and to discuss which procedure(s) is right for you. Best, Dr. Griffiths.
