I love the honesty my injector gives me. When I want aesthetic work done, my injector knows how to make it look natural and never over done.
I had Dr Kohli perform breast implants on me 17 yrs ago. He had a wonderful bedside manner and made me feel comfortable and relaxed the day of my surgery. It was the best thing I did for myself. I am in my mid 50's and they still look great.
Words cannot begin to describe the specialness of Dr. Kohli. If you select him as your doctor you have just made a new life long relationship, but I will get back to this in a minute. I am a 30 yr old female who was post gastric bypass )-130 lbs and after five years of maintaining my weight loss I was finally ready to make some permanent skin changes so I started researching doctors. I live in Revere, MA so I began the search in my area. I went on a consultation to see Dr. David Wages in Peabody. Consultation fee was I think $150-$200. His office was absolutely gorgeous but I was unimpressed with his vibe. He examined me and advised me I would need a lift, with implants and tummy tuck. He quoted me $25,000 for the cost and then sent me off to his secretary to go over payment options. I was a little astounded at the price and I was extremely put off by his demeanor. I felt like just another number. He just didn't seem genuine at all. Next up I contacted Dr. Hall's office in Stoneham, MA. He was recommended to me by a girlfriend who had her breasts done with him (which are beautiful btw) and also by my surgeon who had done my gastric bypass. I called his office and got an idea of pricing and he was less than $25,000 but also a little more than I anticipated spending. I did not go for a consult with him however I have heard nothing but wonderful things about his work and his demeanor. And so my search continued... I sent out a fb message to some friends who I know had some work done and asked who their surgeons were and if they were recommended and I received several responses. One of the responses was from a coworker at my second job and she had just about two months earlier had her breasts done. She highly recommend Dr. Kohli so I contacted him to make an appointment. To my surprise the phone was a direct contact to him. Turns out he has recently relocated back to Ma after being in California for several years so he is beginning again all over here and so he handles many of his own administrative tasks himself. At first I was a little sketched out by this. What kind of doctor emails you directly and gives you his direct phone number and always responds within hours of you contacting him? It was nothing I had seen before so I went to the consultation with him a little hesitant. During my consult with Dr. Kohli I had a little attitude because I was shocked when he told me I wasn't in need of a lift and that an augmentation alone would give me the results I was seeking. Afterall I had just been told by another fancy surgeon that a lift was necessary. But I instantly connected with Dr. Kohli and his genuine, kind, caring nature so I decided to proceed. I even sent him an email after my consult to make sure he was absolutely positive it was not necessary. He instantly responded in such a caring email I began to become reassured he was the tea deal. My mom is very good friends with a malpractice attorney in the area so he looked into Dr. Kohli's record and it came back that in his 30+ years in practice he had never had any malpractice lawsuits. Once I got work I began the process of financing and scheduling my surgery. The total price for my breast augmentation and tummy tuck was to be $13,500. The only things not accounted for in that Price were the garments needed for after surgery, any prescribed medications, the pre operative blood work at the hospital and if needed (the overnight stay at the hospital which I did end up needing because I wasn't able to urinate the night of my surgery so they suggested I stay the cost was around $600 but it's not necessary in all cases). I went with a high profile gummy bear implant 350cc's as well as a tummy tuck. Throughout the whole entire process Beginning to end Dr. Kohli was in touch non stop. His level of compassion and caring for his patients is unlike anything I had ever experienced. You can literally call or email him at any time and he gets back to you right away. He works in Newburyport and out of Anna Jacques hospital currently but is looking to expand that to possible Winchester as well. He is personable, nurturing and reassuring. He literally becomes like a part of your support process and I will forever consider him a part of my family. You might think he is too good to be true because the level of involvement he will have in your life is unlike anything I have ever seen. I can assure you he is the real deal. If anyone has any questions or would like to speak to someone who can comfort your choice in any way by providing information about him and the process I am more than happy to do so. As I write this be I am three weeks out and I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Kohli is a true professional and master at his craft. He won't ever just tell you what you want to hear but he inform you as to the why behind everything so you are educated and informed. He literally changed my life. I finally feel comfortable in my own skin and it is all thanks to this wonderful man.
I had this procedure years ago, and requested for Dr. Kohli to do what he felt would look the best with my facial structure. I initially wanted a more "trendy" and small nose, but ultimately decided to trust his opinion that a smiall nose would not be harmonious with my features, and instead let him work his magic. Well, he did, and my nose looks very natural and is absolutely gorgeous. I so vivdly remember when he took off the cast and I saw it for the first time, I almost cried because I was in so much shock and was so happy. Its been years now and I still marvel at least once a week at how he was able to make the bridge and shape of my nose flow so beautifully with my forehead and chin when I look at my profile. When I was 15 my nose was badly broken (and never re-set) and I spent my teenage years self conscious of what I felt was a harsh and masculine face because of my off-set nose and large bump from the break as well as a slight polly beak. After the surgery, even my coworkers commented on how it completely changed my face as well as my confidence. I went from feeling self conscious and unhappy to feeling feminine, beautiful, and extremely content. I cannot express enough how much this one procedure changed my life, and I am very happy with the outcome.
Thank you for writing to RealSelf and submitting photos. Confidence is a state of mind and you can work on this to feel confident in yourself. If you feel strongly about the condition of your tummy and have a full medical evaluation for health fitness then you can have a tummy tuck as there is enough loose skin fo a TT. Warn you that you will feel very tight after a full tummy. I recommend an in person consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon convenient to your location. Please also look into non or less invasive skin tightening and fat reduction treatment modalities.

Thank you for writing to RealSelf. The simple answer is that a drooping or hanging columella or excessive columellar show is a fixable condition. To decide how much of a correction you need or which method to use to correct the condition, you need to see a rhinoplasty surgeon for an in person consultation.
