Will crying after rhinoplasty effect my results?

About 2 or 3 weeks after my rhinoplasty I started having health issues not related to my surgery though but I've been crying a lot ever since and I was wondering if that affects my results or anything?

HelloIf your description is accurate, this should not have a long lasting impact on your final outcome. I have my patients apply gentle pressure on areas where they see more swelling to correct for this kind of problem, if it occurs.Sincerely,Dr. K

It is common to still have swelling at this stage after surgery that can alter the appearance of the nose, especially the tip as this area tends to stay swollen longer than others.  Give it some time as it can take 6-12 months for final results to be apparent.
