David R. Broadway, MD, FACS

Bedside manner is the biggest thing I look for next to skill/ results. There are so many surgeons out there that are fantastic but wipe it away with a bad attitude. Dr Broadway is the most professional/ skilled plastic surgeon I have ever come in contact with. The team and staff here are dynamite. The culture and environment is so refreshing. My results are killer. I also get IV hydration done here and chemical peels. They offer everything in the world of aesthetics. It’s become my one stop shop for all my healthcare and beauty needs.

I have wanted a breast augmentation for my entire adult life. Especially since I have had children. After breastfeeding 2 beautiful babies, the very little upper fullness I had disappeared and my breasts drooped mildly. I workout almost everyday and feel confident in my body except for the chest region. There is no amount of working out that can make that part of my body feel sexy. So after years of giving my body to my children, I am taking it back!!
I am petite with a small waist but a large booty (thanks mom). I am more afraid of my boobs being too big than too small. However, I understand that in order to look proportional I will need the mod+ projection to match my rear lol. I love to golf, run, mountain bike and play with my children. I'm really hoping they won't be too big and get in the way of the activities I love.

So far my experience with Dr Broadway, Alyson and his office has been incredible. They spent 2 hours with me at the consultation and I feel like Dr Broadway really listened to what I want. Because my BWD is small, they suggested 255cc moderate plus profile. My other option was 210cc moderate profile. I have looked at 1000 reviews and small chested women who got a low cc in moderate profile, didn't look much different after. My 3D pictures came out good.... Almost too good. I would be thrilled if those were my results.

I am almost 2 weeks away from surgery and a massive jumble of emotions (excited, nervous, anxious, you name it I feel it).

Surgery went perfectly. Dr Broadway is a very talented surgeon and extraordinarily pleasant man. I never was in any real pain all week, just discomfort. However, I really struggled the first 3 days with how terrifying my boobs looked. I thought I was prepared to see frankenboobs but good lord I was not. Plus all the pain killers, muscle relaxers and not pooping made me gain NINE POUNDS which really upset me. I knew it was just post surgery weight but it was still sad to see. I was second guessing my decision to do this, did I make a mistake going with textured, why did I put my family through this, etc.
By the end of the week my weight was back to normal and my new boobs rounded out. I am super pleased with how they look one week post op. They still have lots of dropping, fluffing and softening to do but I feel sexy up top for the first time in my life.

I am one month post op and feeling incredible! I LOVE my boobs. They fit my frame perfectly and I have had zero boob greed. They are getting softer everyday and slowly dropping into place. Trying on swimsuits has been my new favorite activity which is something I used to dread.
Highly highly highly recommend Dr Broadway and his wonderful team.

One of my breasts areola was larger and my nipple sat well below height of the other. The procedure was just for one breast and I did it under local - a very interesting experience! Everyone at this office was wonderful. I want to emphasize that my breast is not perfect, and evidence of a surgery will always be there. That being said, I am glad I had this procedure done! I would be glad to help anyone with information on this type of procedure and/or advice to make a decision if surgery is right for you. Each situation is unique.

I remember in 6th grade looking around and seeing all the other girls getting their boobs and excitedly waiting for mine... and waiting through 7th... and waiting through 10th... and waiting through college. Nada! I was given a small A/B I would say from my lovely genetics. Since middle school, I knew I was going to get a breast augmentation but I just didn't know when. Now that I am almost done with my bachelor's degree and getting ready to apply for PA school I thought well it's now or never!
I do have some mild pectus (AKA my breast bone sinks in) as you can see in the photos and since I couldn't find a lot of girls on here with it, I figured I'd post my results to maybe help with giving an idea of what a BA would look like with it. The doc I found was great and he was realistic with the results I wanted. I am still scared of getting an ultra gap in between my boobs because of the pectus, but he said if anything it would help give me good cleavage, so I guess we'll see! I was swinging between 300 and 350 cc but in the end, both I and the doc agreed that I am a tiny woman and I already have some breast tissue as it is, so 305 would be the max I could go. I made it clear my goal was to have a natural look (as natural as breast implants can give at least hah) as well as maybe be a full B or a small C at the end of it. He did make it clear since I am going with a round implant I would have a little "blip" of projection, but I said I was okay with it as long as I don't come out looking like a porn star or a golf ball (not that I am hating on them! They like that look on their bodies but I don't think it would look good on a body like mine.) At first, we were going to do two different-sized implants as I do have some mild asymmetry but in the end, he decided against it as "we would be chasing size" and that just wouldn't be good in the end.
I am scheduled for the 17th of December for the BA after my final exams. I do work Covid floor as a CNA so I am scared of getting a positive covid test and having to push back the surgery, but again, we'll just have to see. Crossing my fingers I don't come down with anything! I have attached my "before" photos, my 3D simulation photos, and some wish pics for your viewing enjoyment hah. More updates to come hopefully!

I got a call saying my covid test came back negative, yay! So the surgery will go as planned on Thursday. I can't believe my surgery is two days from now... it seems like it's been forever since I made my consult (called all the way in July!). I'm getting last-minute Christmas shopping and wrapping, cleaning, dusting, etc. done before the surgery cause I know how useless I'll be after hah. I have to go to work tomorrow which makes me a little nervous as I am scared to pick up Covid (Covid and a BA together does not sound like a good recovery!) I wish I scheduled myself to work yesterday or even today, but it is what it is. I started using the Hibiclens after showers, and the doc is having me put an ointment in my nose and belly button (since I am a hospital worker we harbor all kinds of stuff like MRSA, yuck!) Just gotta get through tomorrow and then I'm home free for my BA and a needed two weeks off! Looking forward to sitting and doing nothing during the recovery process--I'm getting a huge movie playlist ready for the first week!

I posted the other day, and wow did time fly! I got the procedure done at about 12:30 pm and they already look very good for the first day of post-op. I was told I would have dull aches and be in a good amount of pain but so far it hasn't been bad (I was not given prolonged numbing meds). I lost feeling in most of the nipple and breast. I have more "pain" on the incision sites honestly. I can feel just where he cut the peck away. I am happy to report the symmetry is very nice as well as not having a huge gap which I was scared of. The skin around my pectus did lift off the chest wall which is a little concerning but I am waiting for swelling to down before I make a fuss of it. I am so excited about the fluff and dropping process! They also look rather natural yet on the bigger size. Dr. Broadway is amazing and his attention to detail was no different from the office to the OR.

I still feel tender, but nothing too terrible to where I can't handle it (which I’m surprised cause everyone else on here was describing the pain as horribly intolerable!). It's mostly incision pain and a part of the muscle where he cut. I don't feel the "tightness" in the chest most girls seemed to point out in their ratings on this website. I would rate my pain a 1/10 when sitting up in bed. When I am up and moving, it's about a 4/10. I am also surprised that I am still independent. I have been told repeatedly that I will for sure need help going to the bathroom, showering, getting up, etc. I have not needed help on anything, really.

On a different note, I went in for my first Post-op appointment yesterday around 1 and the doctor was very impressed with the symmetry I got, as well as the shape of my breast. He went ahead and told me to not wear the band anymore but a nice supportive underwire bra instead. I was kind of surprised cause I was told by many of the office people that before my surgery, I would have to be wearing the band for at least two weeks. I only wore mine for a day! I also got to see the incision sites and they look lovely! Nicely glued and no sutures on the outside so I don’t get train tracked. After this, I went to VS and got a cute bra. It’s a thin layer of fabric along with an underwire. I am concerned that perhaps this choice wasn’t the best for support so I going back to try on a better bra today from VS as well as Nordstroms. I hear they have great surgical bras. I was measured at a 34C in VS but we’ll see what Nordstrom says cause VS has weird sizing in my opinion. I was a 32C according to VS before the surgery so I’m like hmmm that doesn’t sound quite right.

Now the boob update: The boobs feel a little softer to the touch today and I can tell they are already starting to settle. One concern of mine (to me at least) is that there seems to be a gap forming. I was aware this could happen as I do have the pectus and with that, the muscle attaches farther apart which means a gap. A couple of days before I could really only put a pinky in between the gap and now I can fit two fingers in the gap. I’m just hoping the gap doesn’t keep growing like this to where I have one boob to the side of me and visa versa. This is why I mentioned (in the paragraph above) I’m going to go for a better support bra in hopes of pushing the implants a little closer so they settle that way and not so much far apart. Overall I am still very happy with the results and Dr. Broadway did do a great job. I think they fit my petite little body as well as giving me a good amount of volume!

Phew time flew over the holidays and I forgot to update (and the meds made me a wee bit out of it for a while). After my last post, recovery got a little more intense not gonna lie. I was having lots of muscle spasms almost constantly and the pain kicked up from that which caused more pain in the incisions, skin, etc. When I saw the doctor for the one-week post-op he was surprised I was still in as much pain as I was (and me too! I was annoyed cause every post I read was saying around day 5 was when they would get better!) He gave me a few more pain pills and muscle relaxers but stressed that I needed to get off of them by the weekend (and I wanted to, I hate that stuff). He did say that we did go on the larger size for my petite frame so he really had to stretch the muscles and because of that it wasn't super weird to think I was still having pain on day 7. He was very happy to see his results, as was I, and he said they were healing very nicely. The incisions were a bit puffy, red, and pissed off but I think that was mostly cause he said I needed to wear a bra so early on. There was also mild bruising but nothing bad. The incisions themselves are beautiful-the doctor really knows how to stitch a person up! I should also mention the skin was still raised off of my breastbone at this point and I think it was due to the mild pectus I have along with the swelling.

Now for week 2: Today is 10 days post-op I think and was the first day I woke up without a nagging pain yay! I also was able to sleep through most of the night so I am REALLY hoping I am finally turning a corner here. I'm still getting the muscle spasms but they seem to be much of a lesser degree than the first week. The skin is still very tight and I have been putting lots of lotion on to kind of help with that. I noticed for the past couple of days I was mostly having pain from the incisions in the morning and at night- I dubbed it "morning boob" to my boyfriend. I am doing stretches/massages per docs orders to hopefully help with all of this and push the recovery along and help with the spasms when they are happening. I have to work (and I do tons of lifting and shifting in my job) on the 31st so I am really nervous about that and am hoping I will be 90% by then. I want to add, the skin from the pectus is finally coming down but is still pretty tight (I'm sure you can see from the front view pics). I did have some very mild crepitus in the breastbone area and it freaked me out at first but the doc seemed to not be worried. Since I suck at updating I included photos from the first week and this week and I don't see much difference! The implants seem to like where they're at hah. I do hope they go down just a tad so there isn't a ton of upper pole projection (as I have right now) and then I so I can get a bit more underboob to cover the scars. I am really loving the lateral curves though and I think it gives me a very nice feminine hourglass shape that I have always been wanting. I am very happy with the symmetry- Dr. Broadway is a true artist!

Dr. Broadway is truly an artist. He takes immense care in his work and does amazing surgeries! He is also so kind and sweet which makes a scary surgery not so scary. He listens to his patients and does his best to please and help them. Within 5 minutes of meeting Dr. Broadway, I knew he was the surgeon for me. Not to mention his office staff were just as warm and welcoming. He was realistic and honest in the results I would obtain, which I appreciate. I highly recommend Dr. Broadway for any breast augmentation!

Hey ladies! Sorry for the wait. I've been busy and forgetting to update haha. I'm a couple of days past three weeks I think and I've been doing better. The swelling has gone down more so, but after my last post the nerves starting coming back online and they are PISSED lol. I am no longer numb but instead, the skin over my entire breast is extremely sensitive/painful to touch. My nipples are even worse! The recent cold weather has made it painful cause if they get any kind of cold the nerves let me know they are there and not happy.

I saw the doctor yesterday for a "2-week" checkup (family emergency came up and I had to reschedule) and he was soo happy. He thought they were beautiful and really liked how well they fit my hips and the rest of my body. I have to agree!! I could tell he was very proud of his work and I made sure to compliment him. He asked for me to come back in a couple of months and then suggested I start doing massages. I need to push up on the breast cupping it and push to the inside cupping the breast but not to push down as he doesn't want it slipping or pushing too far out of the pocket. He said these massages are to make sure the pocket stays bigger than the implant.

I was also informed that I get a complimentary scar treatment with the surgery which was so nice! I had no idea. So I went in the early morning today and did that. The woman suggested we do microneedling since my scars were still red and raised. I've had this done to me before as my mom is also an aesthetician. The woman put it on the highest setting I think and it did hurt a bit. A lot like a tattoo but more painful since it was on angry fresh scars (microneedling involves a needle penetrating the skin to cause "holes" and boost collagen production). Tonight, they are now raised, red, and even more pissed but if it helps then good! I also started the scar cream tonight too--something complimentary by Broadway as well.

I attached some photos to show the change. I still don't notice a lot. They look very similar to the first week for me. I also am showing myself in some clothes I bought years ago but never wore cause I felt meh in them. After getting boobs they really added in the wow factor! With how Dr. Broadway did them I can either dress them up or really play them down and look natural. In clothes, they look smaller too so no one has really noticed I've had work done--just as I want it! I can't stress this enough if you want natural and beautiful results go with Broadway!!!

Whoops! Forgot to add this top as well hah. I also wanted to say the muscle spasms calmed down towards the beginning of this week and the tightness has gone down too. Thank god, the tightness was killing me! I still don't have full range of motion quite yet but I'm sure I will soon.

One last thing, I worked on the 31st and it wasn't *too* bad. I was lifting patients, repositioning them, and other things. My muscles held out pretty well. There were veryyyy small pains right on my sternum and I assumed it was probably the muscle group getting angry. This is also when the sensitivity started picking up. I brought Tylenol to work and it seemed to solve all the problems. I did notice I was not able to lift as much though, which was aggravating when I would be lifting a heavy patient and have to call out to another nurse for help. While lifting the muscle just wouldn't let me lift as much or it would lock up and get angry. I go back to work on the 10th so I am hoping my lifting abilities will be better!

Wow, time really passes when all you are doing is studying hah! I've been meaning to post but school started a bit ago and has been eating up a lot of my time. Anyways, 7 weeks already! I can't believe it. I am feeling good for the most part about the BA. The intense sensitivity has died down a lot but is still there, especially in the nipple area. I have mostly regained my feeling although there are parts right under the nipple and then some that are still numb. My chest tightness is completely gone and I am able to lift as I used to now, it just took some time. The skin on and near the pectus has completely gone down which is relieving. I have been doing massages on my right breast (your left I believe) cause it's still a little harder and seems to be settling slower--it makes sense since my right hand is my dominant. I feel like my left breast is completely settled now (though it seemed like there has barely been change with it since day 1 hah!). They're both so soft and squishy, especially my left, it feels just like real breast tissue to me! I have been doing the scar cream although I haven't been great about always doing it twice a day whoops... either way the scars are looking really good to me. As a side note, I've been using the cream on some other scars from surgery and they look great as well. This stuff really does work! I guess the only changes I am waiting on now are just the right breast to totally soften and the scars to go away. I will update in a few months most likely given this will take some time.

As some final thoughts that may help the women reading this and debating if they should have the surgery or not: I am really happy I went through with the surgery. Although it is scary to have surgery (and along with risks and recovery from that..) and such a drastic change I think I had great results and my confidence has gone up. I finally feel like the "real" me, the me I was really meant to be. I feel like less of a meager little girl and more of an emboldened woman. Although I'm 22 and just qualified for silicone implants this year, I would've done the surgery in highschool had I known I'd be feeling this great! I fit in my clothes a lot better and I can wear a lot more cleavage-bearing shirts which are quite fun. I am really looking forward to buying a nice interview suit/shirt/skirt/whatever this year (if!) I get interviews for my physician assistant school applications. Fun times ahead with these new girls... ;)

Thanks to genetics I've always had stubborn abdominal fat deposits despite 30+ years of clean eating, exercise and fasting! If you are unhappy, have the money and the support for recovery JUST DO IT!

I loved my experience with David and his team - especially my nurse, Sarah! I had a breast augmentation with 275cc natural looking implants. The entire process was made easy and simple through the support and help of the whole team at broadway. The team helped with my kids when my sitter fell through so I could talk with David during my consult. They also were time efficient when they knew I was in a hurry. Dr Broadway did a terrific job, I'm extremely pleased with the surgery he performed on me and highly recommend him. I had a breast reduction and lift with removal and replacement of my existing implants to a much smaller size. He also did a great job of making both breasts even in size, I had what I felt was a naturally significantly larger left breast. It's been approximately 2 months since my surgery, but I was pleased immediately after surgery with the procedure and with how much better my breasts looked.

I had 2 surgeries with Dr Broadway. I only wanted to do one but he assured me that it will give me better results and he will make sure I won't pay extra. The first surgery was done in Oct 2018 and it was a BBL with lipo to back and flanks. I was very soar but healed well. I got a stand up desk just so I don't sit down and purchased a BBL pillow for my car. I slept on my belly. I stayed completely off my back and butt. I love my results..I just have no words. The second surgery was in Dec 2018 for a tummy tuck. OMG! I am so glad I listened to him. I was in so much pain I couldn't even sleep on my side let alone my tummy. I wouldn't of been able to sleep or anything really if I did both. It me about two weeks to stand straight. I was so worried about how the scar looked. My older sister had it done 6 years ago and her scar looks awful. He listened to every concern and request. He was awesome. My scar, even for 3 months, is awesome.
