Provided you are not planning to get pregnant, it can work very well for cystic acne, especially if you notice acne worsening around your periods. Your doctor may change your dose if your acne hasn't cleared, as some patients respond well at lower doses and others need higher doses to clear acne. In the initial study on cosmetic Botox only 3% of the group reported nausea, versus 2% of the placebo group (the group that did NOT receive the Botox). It's even hard to say if nausea is a true side effect since these results are almost equal. If it is, it is a very small percentage of patients who will experience nausea from Botox. I have never had a patient complain of it as a result of Botox treatment. Could it be you are experiencing nausea from something else? Hopefully you will feel better soon!
It is possible what is on your nose is a hematoma, or small collection of blood, caused by trauma from injection. If that is the case it will slowly dissolve over the next few weeks to months. If it is indeed the Radiesse causing the lump, the good news is even if you do nothing it won't last forever. It should be gone eventually as the Radiesse Is naturally degraded by the body. In either case, I would return to your doctor and have the lump evaluated.
This is a case where more is better. The more peels you do, the better the results. It certainly takes a series of gylcolic acid peels to see initial results, as gylcolic acid is considered part of the group of light peeling agents. Glycolic acid is an α-hydroxy acid, a naturally occurring acid found in sugar cane and fruits. It typically causes a more gentle peel, which many patients prefer, as the peels require less healing time and are quite tolerable. Most patients return to work right after a glycolic peel. Glycolic peels effects are cumulative. Patients will often come in for an initial serious of peels, but return to the office for periodic refresher peels to further the positive results.
To be clear, Accutane does not prevent pregnancy. It is not a form of birth control. In fact, it is very worrisome to become pregnant while taking Accutane, as the medication causes birth defects. If you are concerned you are pregnant stop the medication right away and discuss immediately with your doctor.
