What is your favorite power food...

What one food gets you through the day and keeps you satisfied?  Please share with us.

I make these awesome power bars/cookies for me and my husband. They are super easy too! 4 ripe bananas 1 spoonful of peanut butter or almond butter 1 cup of quick cooking oats 1/2 cup of choc chips Mix all ingredients together, bake for 15 minutes on 350. I spoon them out to make 'balls' but I have spread them out on a deep cookie sheet and cut them after into bars.

My husband swears by the Kashi breakfast cereals (especially the shredded wheat ones). I feel like I stay full when I eat mostly protein/veggies as opposed to things that have carbs. I like to eat a salad with grilled chicken (lunch) or an omelet with veggies (breakfast) if I am determined not to snack.
