Hi everyone, any advice for clearing up dark spots on your face.  I try to use sunscreen to prevent them from getting darker, but how do I get rid of them all together?

Protecting your skin from the sun is very important. You should use a sunscreen on your face especially when you are exposing to the sun. Moisturize your skin also and drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration of the skin and body.

A good sun screen is a must for protection and with your dark spots a must to keep them from getting darker. I'm bald and first noticed dark spots appearing on my forehead then crown and a few on my face. I tried many products but saw no results until I started using a product that I stumbled on recently. They recommend using their moisturizer with the product for faster results and I am seeing some fading on the spots after only two weeks of use. They only sell online and have a 30 day money back guarantee so I figured what do I have to lose. Haven't lost yet! You will find them here nerium.com/default.aspx?ID=pipsouth I'm sure you will see positive results as I have.

Use a good sunscreen. Pigmentation is mostly caused by ultraviolet rays of sun.

Dark spots and dark patches are very common in females especially in the summer months. Sometimes where normal sunscreens do not work one must try out some home based natural remedies to get rid of these spots completely. Lemon is of great use. It acts as a bleaching agent and tries to remove all the dark spots. A face pack made up of onion and garlic juice would also help in such circumstances. The cooling effect provided by cooling vegetables like tomato or potato helps in reducing the effects of such dark patches and spots. Continuous application for a week or so would start showing the results. A mixture of milk and honey with the properties of a lightening agent and a moisturizer is the best remedy that you could look forward to treat those spots of yours. Lastly, Aloe Vera is also helpful with its soothing and healing effects. For more info or to have the best products must visit- http://www.pleasingcare.com/

Hey a.joyce--Rodan & Fields (founders of Proactiv) have come out with a new anti-aging skincare line that has worked wonders in clearing up my "freckles" aka sun-damage from my face! I used Proactiv as a teen, as it was the ONLY product that got rid of my acne and now the new anti-aging line, REVERSE has done the same. Product testimonials and pics here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lbirnmb3y89derk/Spotlight-Skincare-Winter2013.pdf You can purchase on www.quintessentialskin.com Hope this helps! :-) If you try it, let me know how it goes!
