How To Get Rid Of Bad Acne?

By palsoma76 on 07 Jul 2012

well i have bad acne too. to get rid of it like bit more fast than usually you go to the doctor and tell them about your acne (don't worry about showing them your acne they seen worst) and they write a prescription for you for "Clindoxyl Gel" it works really well you wash your face and apply it then the next day it shrinks down really fast. (P.S don't eat alot of junk food it makes alot of pimples on your face and you will only wonder how to get rid of acne[/url]) and using a soap bar makes it really worst. Ok well a couple of things, 1. You should not just be washing your face with soap. There is a reason why they make face washes. The science behind it is, most washes and soaps are not pH balanced. Our skin has a thing called an "acid mantle." Which is around a pH of 4.5. When you wash with a high alkaline soap, you raise your skins pH that results in dryness. and can evn result in lizard skin. this happens because the high pH sends the enzmyes in our skin that are responsible for natural exfoliation into hyperdrive. I would strongly suggest you go to the drug store and buy a cheap wash. IF you can i would even higher recommend you buy a nicer face wash that is pH balanced like Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel. But since you have acne, you are best off getting an acne wash. They make an acne wash too, but acne washes can not be perfectly balanced for our skin, or else they would not be able to kill the bacteria. 2. Never use toothpaste as a spot treatment. The fluoride in toothpaste is known to burn the skin. Instead invest in a nice spot treatment for your breakouts. 3. If you wear a helmet, wipe down the straps and pads in the helmet with an alcohol pad. If you wear a backpack, get an acne face wipe, and wipe down your back after your bike. The increase sweat causes an increase of bacteria. An acne face wipe can also help keep your face free of breakouts, or at least be used to spruce up before and after work.

I usually read reviews on various products for many different things, but am never convinced until I experience whatever it may be, personally. About a month ago I read a review on the Skin Accumax, which sounded really promising, and being a sufferer of acne, was interested by it, but not completely convinced. I had nothing to lose, so thought I’d give it ago, mainly to see whether or not it was as good as the reviews were making it out to be. I can honestly say I have never been more stunned by the results of anything I have purchased in the past compared to what I am with this product. Within about 3 weeks my face had cleared up and I have been specifically told by friends and family that I’m looking better than what I have done for a very long time. Could not be happier!! I got mine from https://www.advancednutritionprogramme.com/.

Hi! I agree with some of you philosophy however you must be unaware that Dermalogic is full of parabens, toxins, and fragrances. If you have acne you should really use natural products with no fragrance. Food does not have an effect on your acne. Sometimes if you have bad acne it can be a result of a yeast inbalance. You may want to try probiotics it helps balance the good flora in your stomach. Also, people with severe acne can be sensitive to dairy products. I recommend changing pillow case every week. Try products that contain neem and turmeric. Excellent natural antibiotic, and anti-fungal . Good luck. One other comment if you are considering ACUTANE , DON'T . It was never designed as an acne treatment and the side effects are awful. It should be pulled from the market.

Hi a daily routine of washing cleansing and moisturizing should work. I was doing some research and read good reviews about tea tree oil. Check out www.teatreeoilspots.com The system is to use a few drops of concentrated pure tea tree oil in your face wash twice a day. Also if you choose to use products for oil control remember to use light moisturizer since oily skin requires hydration as well. All the best!

Wow you all seem to know a lot. I have been a licensed Esthetician for 30 years and used to have acne myself actually went on Acutane. (Bad Stuff) The most important thing is not to dry out your skin, you will over stimulate it and produce more oil. It's about keeping balance. First choose a good organic fragrance free cleanser, follow with an organic toner ( none with alcohol it dries you out ). The toner should bring your skin back to the right pH. I recommend a clarifying serum that is high in B-3, great for reducing inflammation, antibacterial, helps tone and even skin. Serums have smaller molecules so the ingredients are more readily absorbed into your skin. I like to use an organic fragrance free moisturizer at night only over the serum. A scub is great two time a week ( lets say a Monday and Friday). A turmeric and neem scrub is the best. Great for inflammation, anti microbial, antibiotic has been used for over 500 years. Try to change your pillowcase two times a week. DO NOT PICK. It will leave scars. Remember your skin is the largest organ of your body what you put on it goes directly into your skin then is absorbed into your bloodstream. Read ingredients, make healthy choices.

Wow, not a lot of people know about the acid mantle of our skin. Thank you for sharing this knowledge, it frustrates me that people are still using soap/products with high pH on their skin and then complain about their skin. I do have one correction on that information, I believe the acid mantle actually has a pH 5.5. I know this because I use a skincare line called Sebamed, all their products are formulated to pH 5.5 to match with the acidity of acid mantle. I used to have very oily/acne prone skin. I did some research and found out that, most skin care products have pH of 6+, which strips away the protective layer and make my skin very dry, then oily/acne prone. Since I started using Sebamed, all that has changed. My skin is always at a healthy pH, it no longer has dry patches, oily zones, and my acne calmed down. I use both the classic line & clear face acne line. Both amazing, I would highly recommend it!

Use this method: 1- Hot compress Use the hot washcloth method only if your pimple has broken the surface of your skin 2- Freezing This is the fastest method to use if your zit is still beneath the skin - if its not a white head or black head, and there is no puss coming out of it i'll try it and its works perfectly! =)

This is some good info. Thanks for sharing it. I use Dermalogica products as well, but have tended to go back to Cetaphil as a wash. Thanks again for sharing your tips. :)
