Has anyone had the ionithermie Algae Detox done before?

I did it on my Carnival cruise; and, I'm a little skeptical. I'm a registered nurse; and, I had to study anatomy and physiology in school. During the seminar that was supposed to funnel us into the treatment, I heard giant leaps taken with small truths. I'd sooner go back to my textbooks and review before I'd buy products based on what I heard from the therapists (if they really are...you don't have to be licensed to practice in international waters) and their sales literature. But, more to the point, I've done a fair amount of selling in my day. First, point out the customer's need. In my case, the therapist pointed out my "areas of jiggly fat". Next, create a baseline to show your product works. In my case, the therapist insisted on measuring FROM BEHIND. Next, give out the free sample...the fairly reasonable treatment. Now, here's the hook: show immediate results...the therapist measured me FROM BEHIND again, and I'd 'lost' 6.5 inches. By then, I was supposed to be so excited that I would be more than willing to fork over my hard-earned cash for the suggested 60-day regimen, costing $900-$1200 (depending on whether you buy it at the regular price, or for the 'discounted' price there on the ship.) Mind you, you can pay $400-$500 for 24 days; and up to $5,000-$6,000 for a year's supply. I paid $129 for the treatment; and, it was a fun romp that satisfied my curiosity. But as far as buying the products, the therapist lost me at the measuring-from-behind part. Like I said, I've done my share of selling.

I had three sessions on my royal Caribbean explorer of the seas this week...in total i lost 17 inches...i keep up with the at home treatment...exercise and my boyfriend says he sees that my waistline he's decreased and thighs have tighten...i can see that it looks smoother already.

I had the treatment on Royal Caribbean and followed up at home with a very expensive 6 month package. Didn't really get any result at all. I've even gained weight. It's a bunch of bull.

I have this treatment while on a recent cruise 16-20 August. I loved it. I was able to notice an immediate difference that I had two treatments on the cruise. My sister as well had the treatment. I am looking to get the supplements to go along with the home treatment. I would love to found a place where I can get it done again locally. anyone know of a locaiton in New Jersey, PA or NY, please let me know.

I will be having this treatment tomorrow. I am a little nervous about spending this kind of money on something that may not work. I also plan to do velashape in addition to the ionithermie. Hopefully, I have good news tomorrow!

very expensive!! I will sell it anyone interested for a reasonable price. I think I have

I just came back from a seven day cruise on the Carnival Magic. I had the three day Ionithermie Algae Detox treatment and I did not notice huge results immediately, maybe because of those Blue Margaritas in the monkey glasses. Now that I am home, I can see that the program really worked. Looking in my own mirror I see a huge improvement. I also lost 15 inches in my lower body and now I need new jeans. The Miss Me jeans I bought for the cruise are falling off now. Losing inches is the best excuse to go shopping. I did not purchase the take home program from Carnival because I was not 100% sure it worked while on the ship, but now I want to buy the products. I will take a look at the site mentioned above. If you ever cruise on the Carnival Magic, ask for Charmaine to perform you Ionithermie treatments. She is amazing.

Oh! I have plump/ pitting at the tops of my legs. No treatment was offered to those but only to my abdomen! How can I find such THIGH treatment?!! I need to loose fullness and firm up around there. Regards! Flapper49

I just came off a cruise..Carnival Elation & I had the spa treatment done,& I must say I saw the differents an how my legs got smoother & didn't feel so tight..I plan to order the product & continue from home:)

You could ask the cruise company Royal Caribbean. They offered that service on “Independence of the Seas” last May so their Staff Recruiters (for the SPA) might have a clue...

Does anyone know where can I go in England to be trained to do ionithermie treatments.

I just got 3 treatments done on the carnival liberty. lost a total 23 inches. skin looks smoother and cellulite definatly reduced. very happy with the results. no dents and painless.

I have not seen it confirmed that injection of RESTYLANE or other Hyaluronic material can alleviate folds between the mouth and chin. I am not here interested in the naso-labial area.
