Just got back from a cruise and did 3 treatments for $300 there along with purchasing the 21 day at-home treatment box. I lost quite a few inches on the cruise. I had a lot of cellulite in my thighs and buttocks and was embarrassed to be seen in a bathing suit. Today is my 6th day of treatments and I took a good long look in the mirror and I am starting to see the cellulite diminish, truly, it is much less. This is not a one treatment fix and if anyone is telling you that is lying. Maybe if your young and hardly have any to begin with. The cellulite didn't happen overnight and it won't go away overnight especially with all the junk we put into our bodies. I am feeling pretty good about this product so far.

It works can't say more, your legs will look smooth and lean. I had it done on the royal Caribbean cruise three different times which would be about 9 treatments and I love the way my legs look. As a massage therapist I massage my legs and buttocks every day to maintain firmness and circulation.

I did a treatment of Ionithermie last night for the first time. I went to a spa in Boonton, NJ. Overall, I wasn't sure what to expect, but from the research I have done I was hopeful. They were very nice and considering the fact that you are pretty much naked, they were very respectful. The tech measured me from the front and was very transparent in how she did the measurements. She explained every step of what she was doing. The only frustrating part, which obviously wasn't her fault, was that some of the lead lines were not working so it took close to a half an hour to get everything functioning properly. I still wonder if everything was firing correctly, as the right leg was definitely moving and shaking while the left leg didn't feel nearly as strong. Once everything was set she lowered the lights and left the room, but did check on me often. When everything was done she did measurements again and it totaled up to a loss of 20.75 inches. She actually said "wow, I swear I am not scamming you." lol Again, all the measurements were done from the front and she discussed each measurement as she was taking it. My skin definitely felt great after the treatment was finished, but it certainly didn't match the "before/after" photos I have seen, which I always take with a grain of salt. She didn't "push" any products or additional treatments on me. She simply said "there is a kit available and we do offer a package option if you are interested." But that was it. I asked if I can just do "one off" treatments as I see fit or do I have to purchase the package and she said that is certainly not an issue at all. She has a similar body type as me and she actually suggested some different exercises to help firm up. This morning I will say I felt a bit of a difference in my jeans. Long story short, I will probably try it again - maybe in a month after I do more exercises, however, at $150 a pop (which is still real money for me) I will do treatments sparingly.

I just had three treatments last week while on a Holland America cruise. I watched the measuring, done on the side in a mirror. She also marked the measure spots so I could see she took the measurement from the same spots before and after each treatment. After three treatments I lost 13 inches. I felt the difference in my clothes immediately. Another way I could tell was on my flight home my seatbelt was considerably looser. I bought home treatments and am looking for a spa that offers it in CA if anyone knows of one.

I recently had this treatment on a cruise and am very pleased. Of course nothing is going to rid me of all my fat. I bought the home treatment, am exercising and eating heathy foods. I am 50, not overweight, but was looking for some help with my thighs- I am very pleased with the results. I don't look perfect, but I look a lot better and my pants fit so much better. I recommend this highly!

I had it done on a NCL cruise last week and my legs are definitley smoother and firmer....now the challenge is to keep it that way through healthy eating and excercise. I just 2 treatments done on RC. I don't have much cellulite but some accumulation around torso and abdomen. I loved the results and bought home care. The only US spa is in Miami.

Sorry, my therapist was from South Africa and was told the only one was in Miami. She might not be very familiarized with the U.S.

I did it on my Carnival cruise; and, I'm a little skeptical. I'm a registered nurse; and, I had to study anatomy and physiology in school. During the seminar that was supposed to funnel us into the treatment, I heard giant leaps taken with small truths. I'd sooner go back to my textbooks and review before I'd buy products based on what I heard from the therapists (if they really are...you don't have to be licensed to practice in international waters) and their sales literature. But, more to the point, I've done a fair amount of selling in my day. First, point out the customer's need. In my case, the therapist pointed out my "areas of jiggly fat". Next, create a baseline to show your product works. In my case, the therapist insisted on measuring FROM BEHIND. Next, give out the free sample...the fairly reasonable treatment. Now, here's the hook: show immediate results...the therapist measured me FROM BEHIND again, and I'd 'lost' 6.5 inches. By then, I was supposed to be so excited that I would be more than willing to fork over my hard-earned cash for the suggested 60-day regimen, costing $900-$1200 (depending on whether you buy it at the regular price, or for the 'discounted' price there on the ship.) Mind you, you can pay $400-$500 for 24 days; and up to $5,000-$6,000 for a year's supply. I paid $129 for the treatment; and, it was a fun romp that satisfied my curiosity. But as far as buying the products, the therapist lost me at the measuring-from-behind part. Like I said, I've done my share of selling.

Its such a shame you didn't have a positive experience with the treatment. It does sound a little strange how the therapist treated you. When I do measurements for my clients, I let them know its only approximate, as I'm only human, and its best to feel the results in clothing. I measure from the side of my clients for modesty, but I don't hide the result of measurements, they are written down in front of my clients as they are taken before and after. I sincerely hope you find a salon at home that can perform the treatments for you, as it truly can be amazing... I am so glad that myself and my therapists are upfront and honest with our clients and expectations, so we have some very very happy clients and wonderful outcomes as a result.

I also purchased the treatments from a Norwegian Cruise. I am very disappointed in the results. When I was on the ship, I was measured from behind. I would go back to my stateroom and measure and not get the same measurements. I spent over $1400.00 on something that I was told would work and didn't. I am very upset with this product.

While I agree with the selling aspect of your post, it really works. I am a hair stylist so I got a chance to talk business with the therapist. I just got this done on RC. Two treatments and then home care. I saw immediate results. 10 1/2 inches the first day. 6 1/2 inches the next. I am 5'3", 135 lbs. Fat accumulation around torso and hips like most 45 yr olds. It was unbelievable. The therapist was trained in London at the products facility. Sent there by Royal Caribbean Cruise line. She was so excited to be doing something that showed results and made so many ppl happy in such a short period of time. She really believed in the product and treatments. You don't need but one initial treatment with the stimulating machine to break through the fat barrier but you do have to continue with the home care daily for the amount of time they configure for individual results. I received two treatments because the stimulator on ship contracts the muscles and tightens them along with the product reducing accumulation of cellulite. We need fat to regulate body temp so it is not that we want to rid ourselves of it completely. The stimulating machine is an added perk and results will just be slower if you don't accelerated with it. I needed 48 in home daily treatments and the cost of the two onboard treatments and the home kit cost me 700.00. It is a detoxification and she explained how it works and really only needs to be done about every 15 years once the regime is completed. Go to www.timetospa/ionithermie No, I do not work for them. I am a self employed 45 year old hairstylist that is completely stoked about the results and was fortunate enough to have a great therapist that loved to talk about it. I listened. If you have any doubts I hope this helps.

And my therapist measured me from behind as most professionals do. Seamstresses, bra consultants, personal trainers, etc. I could see the numbers on the tape where she held and wrote on the card on the counter beside me. It's not always a scam. The regular salons and spas (non cruise ships) pump the products as well. That is how they stay in business. Profit. While professional products are expensive, there is a lot of research and development and knowledge that goes along with it. As a stylist, it cost me a fortune to educate myself and keep current an knowledgeable for my clients. That is why clients get good results. You get what you pay for in most cases. Remember, the therapists only get a small percentage of your money and do all of the work. Generally speaking, not everyone is "out to getcha" in this world. As hard as it is to believe these days. I wish we all could stop being so paranoid and start believing that everyone is lying to us. Sorry to take up so much space. I just believe in the practices and educating myself before speaking negatively about some subjects.

I had the treatment on Royal Caribbean and followed up at home with a very expensive 6 month package. Didn't really get any result at all. I've even gained weight. It's a bunch of bull.
