I have some volume loss in my face, due to weight loss, and age. My biggest concern is the lax skin around my mouth and jowls. I have developed 2 shadows/dimples/divets in my chin area. Maybe from the excess skin in that area? I have quite a bit of volume loss in the temples too, especally my left. Suggested fix is 2-3ml Voluma in cheeks and 2ml in temples. I'm told this is how to address my lower face concerns. Is this so? Is this enough? 43 yo, female, 5'7, 130lbs
I am 35 and regularly get Botox and have had filler to the lips, nasolabial folds and temples as well as a small amount to the apples of the cheeks. My temples are still semi hollow as well are my buccal hollows and the area around my eyes (upper and lower). Im interested in restoring all the areas of lost volume with voluma and was wondering if 4 syringes of Voluma would be sufficient.
I had two full syringes of voluma (1 each side) injected into my temples 4 months ago and already I am back to square one which is extremely disappointing given the price point. Is there a different option that actually works?
I just went on a consult for fillers and remember the doctor saying something about how deep certain fillers are injected and that different fillers are injected at different depths under the skin. Specifically, is there a difference in depth of injection between Radiesse and Voluma? If so, why? And which depth works better/why for the temple and zygoma area? Thanks!
I'm just really concerned this isn't normal because I have n vet done filler before. I had voluma put in the hollows of my temples yesterday, one syringe on each side. I had a lot of volume loss. Today I have a bad migraine and the area is uneven, lumpy and sore. Is this normal? And will it smooth out on its own? I know my skin is thin there, is it possibly be to feel the voluma even if it was injected deep?
I had my temple area injected yesterday by a highly regarded clinic. They used juvaderm volume and today there is minimal discomfort and no bruising but I feel nauseous and a bit dizzy.
My temporalis muscle works so it might be from some atrophy or settling of the bone flap. Surgery was in 2014. Will the Voluma stay in place? Am I at a greater risk than others due to the fact my temporalis muscle was dissected and and reattached and I have screws nearby? Does this increase the risk of the filler going where it should not go? I'm scheduled to have the procedure done by an RN expert injector who is a nationally recognized speaker and trainer for Allergan. Thank you..
A couple of days ago I had Voluma into temples, cheeks & chin. When I left the clinic the results were perfect but I began to swell around the chin a couple of hours later. My chin looked huge and without contour. Today its a little better but Im concerened that too much product has been used. Other areas appear lightly bruised too. This was done with a needle not a cannula like the first time I had it done with a different doc. There was no swelling then. Whats happening this time?
I got my first treatment of Juvederm voluma two days ago. I got 1 ml in upper cheeks and in each side of the temple.I am having slighly pain in the temples, especially when I chew. I have read online that the Juvederm Voluma will stay in the body from 12-18 mnd and then breaks down by the body. But my doctor told me that this product will stay in my body and does not exit. What is right and wrong? I have also heard about doctors who found temporarily fillers under patients skin many years later
