I got pricing on a tummy tuck with top and bottom lipo and I was curious if that would look wierd when I still have back fat (under bra and a little bit of love handles) or if it is even worth getting lipo with the tummy tuck for your abd? What is the usual price difference if u get lipo on your back as well. My consults in 3.5 weeks

Answer: Tummy tuck and liposuction Typically when patients undergo a tummy tuck with liposuction for contouring they maximize the opportunity and have liposuction wherever needed. From your photo it appears you may have better results if you first lost weight. This would also give your surgeon the ability to optimize your results.

Answer: Tummy Tuck with/without Lipo Tummy and/or Back Hello! It looks like you would benefit from tummy tuck and muscle repair due to your lax muscles. I do not like to lipo fat from the abdomen at the time of the tummy tuck as it challenges healing. I would recommend you consider lipo of the waist area. You should see a board certified plastic surgeon to assess your safety for the procedure. Your medical conditions and weight will be taken into account. Based on this assessment your surgeon might offer you the option of doing back lipo, but this procedure adds more risk to the overall surgical experience. You can find a board certified plastic surgeon at plasticsurgery.org. Best of luck to you!
