I got pricing on a tummy tuck with top and bottom lipo and I was curious if that would look wierd when I still have back fat (under bra and a little bit of love handles) or if it is even worth getting lipo with the tummy tuck for your abd? What is the usual price difference if u get lipo on your back as well. My consults in 3.5 weeks
Answer: Liposuction If you do not address the back fat, you will notice it more once the abdominal area is removed. However, it can be done at a later time if you wish. Or, perhaps the abdominal surgery will inspire you to loose weight.

Answer: Considering Tummy Tuck and Lipo: Addressing Back Fat and Cost Differences I'm glad to hear that you're considering a tummy tuck and liposuction to help achieve your desired body contour. Addressing the abdominal area and flanks can provide a more harmonious and balanced appearance. Adding liposuction to the back and bra area is a common choice to further enhance the overall result. Every patient is unique, so it's essential to discuss your specific concerns and goals during your consultation. Your plastic surgeon will be able to give you a personalized assessment and recommend the best course of action to achieve your desired outcome. They may also suggest that losing some weight before the procedure could help optimize your results. As for the price difference, it can vary depending on the amount of work needed and the surgeon's fees. During your consultation, you'll receive a detailed quote, which will include the additional cost of addressing the back and bra area with liposuction. Thank you for your question, and I hope your consultation goes well and provides you with the information you need to make an informed decision. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Safety as priority Your abdomen is very protruding because you have very thick abdominal skin and also a lot of visceral fat, fat on your back and very saggy abdominal skin. Your visceral fat will prevent you to have a nice and tight muscle repair, so you won’t end up with a flat abdomen. So if the purpose of surgery is yo make you look wonderful with a flat abdomen, better defined waist, nice shape, and if your fat deposits will impede to achieve the goal, in my opinion you must lose weight first. Liposuction won’t make your abdomen flat. Your BMI should be below 30 and while laying down your abdomen must be flat to have a successful muscle repair. Be encouraged! Dr. Cárdenas

Answer: Tummy tuck and liposuction Typically when patients undergo a tummy tuck with liposuction for contouring they maximize the opportunity and have liposuction wherever needed. From your photo it appears you may have better results if you first lost weight. This would also give your surgeon the ability to optimize your results.
