Bump at the side of my belly button 11 months post-op tummy tuck - advice? (photo)

Hi im 11 months post op and have been suffering with pain to the left side of my belly button and there is a bump there also i have had a scan and they said it was fine my surgeon is unsure of what it is and im sick off being in pain still wearing my garment and taking painkillers daily

I'm sorry to hear of the discomfort you've been experiencing after your tummy tuck.  It is not typical to still require a compression garment or pain medication eleven months post op.  Further evaluation is needed to determine the cause of your pain.  I encourage you to revisit your surgeon to discuss further options to uncover the source of your discomfort.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
