Hi, could breast augmentation make broad shoulders look smaller?I have small breast now. I'm worried of that aspect. I want my shoulders to be smaller looking.

While breast implants won’t make your shoulders smaller, larger breasts may make your overall body contour look more proportionate and balanced. Why not try this - get a bra in a larger cup size then stuff it, wear a form fitting shirt over and the check yourself out in the mirror to see if this has a positive effect on your shoulder appearance. If yes, then breast augmentation may help you.

Thank you for your question.  Breast augmentation is a procedure that will increase the volume of your breasts and give you a rounder fuller look.  Best to seek an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon at which time you will be invited to try on implants and evaluate your concerns.  Good luck.

Hi,Certainly the increase in breast size could give the illusion that your shoulders aqree narrower but there is no way to guarantee that outcome.

Thank you for sharing your question.  Though implants will not make your shoulders smaller they may proportionately draw attention from your shoulders to improve your overall proportions.  I would definitely recommend seeing an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to discuss the best treatment option to maximize your breast and shoulder results. Breast augmentation can make your shoulders APPEAR less broad because it provides a better balance in appearance of your upper torso. It in no way actually makes your shoulders smaller. Hope that helps.

Breast implants will not shrink your shoulders, so if that is your focus before and after surgery then you may be disappointed. However, I think breast implants would put your chest in better proportion with your shoulders and give you a much better look. Keeping your goals in mind I would probably use a wider and larger implant than what I would typically use.

A breast augmentation will not change the size or shape of your shoulders, but larger breasts will tend to draw the eye away from the shoulders and make them appear smaller. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon and discussing all your concerns.
