I read on here somewhere that before surgery one should not eat sea food, Is that true? Or should I just call my surgeons office to double check? I just want to make sure I am not doing anything that is a no-no before Surgery. I have surgery on the 13th of this month. Thanks!

Answer: Seafood Eveey surgeon has different rules, but it should be OK. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach Trained, Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: SEA FOOD AND BREAST AUG??? This is a little bit weird question, there's nothing on the literature that say anything about sea food and breast implant augmentation, and there's no logical thinking in contraindicating eating sea food prior surgery... Enjoy your shrimp and lobster, best regards!!!
