It is very unlikely that a patient would have zero response to Dysport when injected properly in the proper dosage. Some patients require more units than others, but this dosing varies from one person to the next. Dysport injections usually start to take effect 4-5 days after treatment, and will reach their maximum effect by around days 7-10 after injection. I always tell my patients that the lines will not disappear immediately, and in some cases, may never completely disappear if the lines are very deep initially. In almost all cases, the lines will soften over time as the skin remodels while it is no longer being repeatedly creased by dynamic muscle movement. I always recommend speaking to the doctor who performed your injections about any questions or concerns. All the best,
Dysport or Botox should work on all clients. Your provider might have over diluted the product, and or not given enough units to give you the look you desire. Talk with that provider and I'm sure you will get what you want. Hope this helps. JB
I'm not sure when you had your injections, but it can take up to 2 weeks for final results. I would wait a full two weeks before assessing results and whether you need a touch-up. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
It is very rare for patients to have immunity from any neuromodulator. Typically there is a good reason you have not seen any results. It could be the product was old, that the area was undertreated, or that more time is needed for results. It can take up to 14 days to see final results. I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation if you do not see any improvement.
There are many reasons why the effect of Dysport may not seem to last long or not show any significant effect. This could be either to less than an optimal number of units, improper injection, or if fewer units were injected than what was actually purchased. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.
Thank you for your question. It is unlikely that Dysport wouldn't work at all. It can generally take up to 7 days to see the results. After a week follow up with your experience certified injection regarding your concerns. Good luck!
Some patients have amazing results with Dysport; some have disappointing results. However, it is rare to see no results. I would suggest trying:1. A different product. Maybe you will do better with Botox.2. A higher dose. Perhaps too small a dose was used. (This is the most likely explanation.)3. A deeper level of injection. Some injectors place Dysport immediately beneath the skin, rather than into muscle. This reduces pain but also reduces effectiveness.4. A different injector. Perhaps someone else with more experience will achieve a better result.
Good day, Unfortunately in some cases patients may not have any results with Dysport. If this is the case, your surgeon should suggest alternatives such as Botox or Xeomin. Please discuss your options with your board certified plastic surgeon.

It can take up to 2 full weeks to see the results of Botox and Dysport treatment. If it’s been 2 weeks and you are still not seeing results, I would return to your injector for a follow up. Patients can develop a tolerance to certain toxins and may need to be switched to a different one.
Neuromodulators can be used to weaken the muscles along the posterior jaw line and this may improve TMJ dysfunction. The amount depends on several factors and can be adjusted based on examination and desired results. It is recommended you discuss with your treating provider.
What you have described is not typical and should be evaluated by your injector. Minor swelling can occur at the injection site, but this generally would occur immediately after treatment and resolve within a few hours. These symptoms occurring six weeks after treatment would warrant an...
While the timing suggests this may be due to dysport, it is somewhat hard to tell for sure. the lower lids are incredibly dynamic in a 3D way. restylane to your lower lids may have improved contours and filled in hollows. however the orbicularis muscle which lies under the skin of your...
