I have tmj and suffer from clenching and headaches . I'm thinking of getting dysport injection to my jawline to slim down my round face and relieve pain with tmj . How much do you think I need ? ow many units of dysport to slim down my jaw and help with tmj ?

Answer: Slimming the Jaw/Face with Botox/Xeomin/Dysport In the US we use 15-20u per side of botox to start with, then add more if needed. If you use too much at once you can overly slim the jaw and cause looseness OR you can make it difficult to chew. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Answer: Masseter hypertrophy and TMJ Hi,For facial slimming, there can be a range of doses of botox (15U-50U) or dysport (45U-150U) per side and this may improve some of the TMJ symptoms (although this is not the ideal treatment for TMJ).
