What will my BBL results be without a Tummy Tuck? ]

Hello! I am 5'0 and weigh 125 lbs. I'm looking to get a BBL only. I am not ready for a tummy tuvk as i dont know if I will have more children in the future. I do have 1 child which was delivered vaginally. I have gone to some consultations and its noted that I have loose skin due to my previous pregnancy however, i am not ready for a tummy tuck. Its very hard to find results of only bbl without Tummy tuck. What is your advice/recommends of the results with only the lipo of a bbl.

In most cases, liposuction and BBL can performed even if tummy tuck is indicated if pregnancy in the future is planned. You may be able to avoid the TT, but this will depend upon your exam and the precision with which the liposuction is performed. How flat the abdomen will be will depend upon how much fat is removed from the area as well as how you heal.

Hello @Julie1990x thank you for your question and showing your pictures. The best way to go is combining treatments. Liposuction alone won't get rid of loose skin in the abdominal area. Besides each procedure serves a different purpose, a tummy tuck is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and strengthens the abdominal muscles, in which there is abdominal lipolysis, abdominal diastasis repair, skin removal with umbilical reconstruction, and a liposuction is the extraction of fat from a particular area of the body, in this case the abdomen (abdominal lipolysis). On the other hand liposculture we take out fat from all parts of the body to make it more harmonious. Is important that you are clear with your specialist in the results that you seek. Best!

Hello and thank you for your question. I agree with the surgeons that you have discussed surgery with in the past in advising you to avoid liposuction to the lower abdomen. Liposuction performed on loose skin has a high risk of causing deformity. If you desire a BBL surgery I would liposuction areas of your body such as your back, love handles (flanks), and arms, with fat grafting to your hips and/or buttocks and just leaving your abdomen alone. You can always reconsider a tummy tuck after you are finished with pregnancies. Best of luck to you.

Based on your photos your problem is not excess of fat, you are slender patient. Your problem is saggy skin and lots of stretch marks because of your prior pregnancy. So liposuction will only make your abdomen become saggier and wrinkly. 
You are a perfect candidate for Tummy Tuck and if you are not ready for Tummy Tuck, don’t ruin the way your abdomen looks now with liposuction. Wait until you have more babies and ready for a wonderful transformation: flat and tight abdomen, smaller waist line after the tummy tuck and muscle repair.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

This is a common question. Keep in mind that a BBL and TT are totally different procedures. The BBL deals with the fat - liposuction and fat transfer. The tummy tuck deals with skin and muscle. So, yes, to get a totally flat abdomen, you will need a tummy tuck. This does not mean you need to have a tummy tuck. You can still do a BBL, but need to understand that the skin laxity will remain to some extent and you may desire a tummy tuck, or a mini tummy tuck later.  So, you can still get a BBL without a tummy tuck, as long as you understand what each will address since they are two different procedures with two different purposes.

you are a candidate for lipo 360/ BBL, but expect very wrinkled skin in your lower abdomen. Might consider additional use of minimally invasive skin tightening technology (ie Body Tite, J-Plasma, superficial sculpture- but all these most likely will NOT really tighten enough!).  Expect fees in the $6,000-$12,0000 ranges.

You are a candidate for a full TT. If you think you are going to have more kids, then you can just do the BBL now and come back for a TT at a later date after you are finished. The skin over your abdomen is loose with stretch marks. This will not improve after just a BBL. AND likely will look a little worse. The skin will have even more laxity and can appear more uneven (not smooth with irregularities). If your goal of a BBL is just for a better shape and not for the appearance of your abdomen, then you should have the BBL. If you are doing this also to help your abdomen, then you need the TT.

Hello, and thanks for your question. A tummy tuck would be recommended for you, however it is possible to solely do lipo with BBL. You could wait until you are done having kids to go through with a tummy tuck/BBL procedure, or you could get lipo with BBL now, however, you may not be as satisfied with the results as you would be with a tummy tuck. You have some loose skin, which the liposuction would not be able to get rid of.
