I have a chin implant. It's too round and makes my face too wide. What to do? (Photo)

Since it's only seven weeks after your implant and liposuction, I would wait at least three months before making any other decisions. Swelling can take that long to resolve and you may end up liking your new chin as your smile improves. Removing it too soon can cause further problems in muscle and nerve weakness so it may be best to wait a while before removing your implant if that is the path you choose. I typically advise my patients to wait at least three to four months.

 Thank you for your pictures. Your chin implant does change your chin shape. When placing an implant there's very little control over it retaining your original shape and achieving enhancement.  Removing the implant may pose more problems at this point.  There are no guarantees that removal will bring you back the shape of your chin or the function of your lip as it was before. 

It appears that your depressor muscles are weak after the procedure. Was the implant placed using the intraoral approach?You want to allow the remaining swelling to subside which takes a minimum of 4 months after the procedure before judging the aesthetic outcome. 

Your issues: #1 Still very early so there might be swelling? Allow 3 months healing time than decide if to large. #2 The implant used might have been to large. #3 Why did you not try non surgical options as fillers, fat grafts? If after 3 months you can have removal than allow another 3 months healing before trying fillers.
