Can my uneven alarplasty results be revised? (photo)

there is still a lot of swelling in that photo. I do not recommend that patients analyze their nose until many months after surgery. This is because the swelling can make the appearance very different.

Unfortunately you cannot reverse alarplasty (narrowing of the nostrils). If an attempt is made to reverse it the scarring is extensive. Also it is almost impossible to achieve symmetry in the nostrils. Keep in mind the mild asymmetry in nostrils is not notice by anyone except you and does not effect the beauty of the nose.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you are a good candidate for a revision. Placement of alar contour grafts and other maneuvers could help improve nosyril symmetry and address the soft triangle notching. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
