Hi, I have recently had a surgical mole excision using local anaesthetic and would like to know when I could have a rhinoplasty. The mole excision was not on my face. Kind regards.

Answer: Rhinoplasty may be considered as soon as your incision is healed. Once your sutures are removed, and once scar tissue has formed, around 2 weeks after the procedure, all should be good with moving forward with rhinoplasty surgery. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Rhinoplasty timing Hello and thank you for your question. As long as the mole excision was not performed on your face, you can have surgery anytime after this. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G.
