Would I benefit from a nose job or is my chin the problem? I hate my side profile

You are a good candidate for rhinoplasty. You have a moderate size hump. I don’t think your chin needs to be touched

Unfortunately, you have not provided a frontal view. This will determine whether you need a rhinoplasty or not. You do have a small dorsal hump that can be easily filed down. Your nasal columella angle looks good. You may benefit from a chin implant. I need a frontal view to give you a more accurate answer.

Thank you for your question. First, you are a beautiful lady. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty. I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. In your case, I would perform a small chin implant and also fat grafting to the labial mental crease. That is the horizontal crease between your lip and your chin. I find this is very effective especially in people have a significant indentation in this area as you do. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, tip elevation, among other maneuvers. I don’t think you need a chin implant. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

The photographs demonstrate an overly projecting nose with a dorsal hump, and an under projecting chin. Consider a closed rhinoplasty procedure, in addition to a small chin implant for better facial balance and proportions. Choose your surgeon wisely based on extensive experience producing natural results, since rhinoplasty is the most difficult procedure to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery. Digital computer imaging would also be helpful to see what you can be accomplished with both procedures upon your facial features

It is not uncommon for rhinoplasty and chin augmentation to be performed simultaneously. You do appear to have some chin retrusion and a chin implant along with your rhinoplasty would better balance your profile. As a tester, you can try having your chin temporarily augmented with filler to see if you would like the effects that a chin implant would provide. Good luck!
