I agree with my colleague.  I am unaware of any interaction between botox and tetracycline, but make certain that you discuss your interest in injectables with the dermatologist prescribing your medication to confirm that they have no concerns.

Thank you for your question.  The thinking behind chronic antibiotic use while having Botox injected is that the antibiotic may possibly make the Botox ineffective.  There is no real research to back this up, however, and many people who need to take antibiotics (including tetracyclines) every day do beautifully with their Botox treatments.  There is nothing to be worried about with having Botox.  If you would like, you could have your injector start with a small area (say the glabellar region) and see how your body responds a week or two after Botox is injected.  Then, you can return to your injector for further treatment.  Wishing you so much bliss on your journey!

so the main problem is having injections through active acne. It will make you prone to a post botox infection. Also there is a chance that the injections can cause an acne flare up. It is this that might be a problem rather than the drug itself. Be very wary of filler with acne as this could creat a serious infection or at the very least compromise the effect of the filler significantly.Hope that helps, Adam Goodwin

Botox on my review doesn't interact with tetracycline.  Talk to your injector about your concern so they understand.
