Hi, i did my Breast Augmentation surgery a five years ago. As you see they are uneven. Please, give me some advise how i can fix them? Can i just fix one of them or i have to re do both of them? Thank you.
Answer: Is it possible to fix my right breast? Your breasts are visibly asymmetric. It should be possible to improve this by repositioning one or both breasts. To determine the best solution would require an in person physical examination. if possible, I would suggest a return visit to your original surgeon. Most surgeons will work hard to correct a problem when they occur on their own patients.

Answer: Implants One implant has bottomed out due to the weight. The inferior pocket can be tightened and raised and may need support with mesh. With bottoming out, it is best to go down in size. Going down will need to revise both breasts.

Answer: Breast Revision This may require a physical exam to truly determine what is happening here. This could be implant malposition on the left or capsular contracture on the right (or both). In addition, it could be uneven implants placed into uneven pockets (or both). I recommend finding a board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeon with aesthetic fellowship training.

Answer: Breast asymmetry Dear Krasotka968, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Pocket repair Hi Krasotka, I'm sorry to hear of your complication! I wonder if this asymmetry was present immediately after surgery? Or if it's something that occurred a bit down the line?Either way, you may need some repair of the breast pocket. The breast implant should be nestled in a pocket withing the breast tissue and sometimes that pocket loses its integrity somehow. I wish you the best of luck in your search for treatment! -Dr. Nik
