Erectile dysfunction after tummy tuck. Is it normal?

I had a tummy tuck and gynecomastia surgery in September 2014. Ever since I have had terrible Erectile Dysfunction problems. My penis can get erect but loses it stiffness almost straight away. This even happens when I use drugs such as viagra and cialis. Before my operation I had no such problems, I used viagra even then due to anxiety/performance issues, but had no problems maintaining an erection. Can my surgeries have caused me to develop these erectile problems?

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear of your ED problems.  As both of these procedures entail treatment of the overlying skin and adipose tissue of the body, and are not around the nerves that may result in ED, I would recommend you speak to your Viagra prescriber about your symptoms. You may need further work up to determine the cause of your worsening ED.

Thank you for your question. It is unlikely cause of your ED from the surgeries you mentioned. I would recommend you see a urologist and also discuss with your PS

It is pretty unlikely that anything happened during your surgery that would, or could, result in ED. I would discuss these concern with your surgeon and consider seeing a Urologist for ED evaluation. Good luck.
