My boyfriend had laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery about one month ago and has been experiencing some swelling in the same area where the hernia used to pop out (Between his hip and testicles). it seems to worsen in the evenings and he is having pain there as well that is keeping him up all night. he had an apt with his surgeon the other day and they told him to come back in two weeks. Im concerned as the pain seems to be bad some nights. Is this normal? Thanks!
