40 yo man, asian decent, had vaser lipo with renuvion tightening 5 years ago. Height weight have been stable at 510 and 168 lbs. Compliant with consistent diet and exercise regimen. Will I benefit from a tummy tuck or further weight loss?
For 3 years now my LOWER ABDOMEN has been feeling very tender/tight and overly sensitive. Its very uncomfortable to live life normally. Only wearing a strap gives relief CT and Ultrasound were normal - I think it maybe internal scar tissue and maybe a trapped nerve. I have reached out to many surgeons in Toronto who have all declined to help without seeing me, saying there is nothing they can do. Will massage therapy help or will I need revision?
I recently lost 40lb over a year and I went to an office for a liposuction consolutation and my visit showed that I had very little abdominal fat and it was mostly scar tissue. The skin underneath my scar has fused to the muscle and the doctor told me I would benefit from a abdominal scar revision but the surgery would basically be a tummy tuck. Would the pain of the fused skin make me eligible for insurance coverage? If it only covered partially, what would my out of pocket most likely be?
I had a tummy tuck and unbilical hernia corrected 5 days ago and had an over night stay. I needed the toilet to pee and was helped up by a nurse. I felt a sharp pain. I hadnt seen the results as i was wrapped up. As the day went on i noticed i still had a bulge, i was told it was swelling but it looks and now feels like my belly is back. If a stitch comes out would i feel a lot of pain, or could it go un noticed. I feel like there is no difference to be honest except a scar. Im male and 25.
Im 6 ft tall and 155 pounds, i used to be 260 pounds(all fat) and due to this i have loose skin on my torso specifically directly under and above my belly button. Its not a lot compared to others ive seen but its enough that i won't beable to get defined good looking muscle with it there. And it won't go away with time. So im what im really asking is will a tummy tuck allow me to get the body of a male model, or not? And will it have any unattractive side effects?
I'm a 24yr old male, very fit and active before my tummy tuck, non smoker! My incision was healing nicely but then it began to weep in the centre above pubic area, my surgeon put me on bactroban and a course of antibiotics which I have just finished today. I seen my surgeon 2days ago and he said I am healing nicely and my incision is looking a lot better. However I am concerned that I have fat necrosis or a staph infection. There is no smell from the wound and changing dressing daily
I am 12 days post op and from the very beginning following the procedure I have noticed my upper abdomen is not as flat as the lower. Also my lower abdomen feels much tighter and numb than the upper portion, which is what was expected, but I also expected that throughout my abdomen. I feel as though maybe the muscle repair was not performed or maybe I'm over analyzing too soon. would appreciate any and all feed back. Thanks!
I'm 48M, 511, 250 lbs., down from 310. It's been a process of weight training, cardio, nutrition (for 2.5 years) and Wegovy (the past year). I've been stable at 240-250 for about eight months, though I'm much stronger through training! Unfortunately, I have an overhang of skin and fat that's been stubborn, or gotten worse as my body has gotten leaner. Would a tummy tuck be a good/bad idea or should I keep trying to lose weight? I don't see weighing much less
