I'm only 39 years old! Slim (115) and never gained weight in my life! I have recently developed ugly vertical cords that are visible without even having to tighten my neck or clinch my teeth! :( I tried Botox injections but they didn't do much! I'm very desperate as my wedding day is in approaching (less than 2 months)! So, what would be the best solution? Appreciate every single advice I can get in that regard.
Answer: Deep neck lines can be addressed with several nonsurgical or surgical options The neck can have deep horizontal wrinkles and rings from an early age (genetics play a key role) as well as from sun damage and aging in almost everyone. They can be super annoying and are hard to get rid of. Surgically removing them is the best way to get rid of them but this can leave a lot of scars in very visible areas which most people don’t want. These deep lines are usually at the skin level. There are several nonsurgical and surgical options to consider. Some can be done at the same time. Surgery combined with injections and laser treatments before or after surgery is usually the biggest difference. For people not interested in surgery, the hyaluronic acid injections and laser treatments are the most reasonable options, maybe combined with a chemical peel. These procedures can be done safely in the office and the results are often very satisfying. An in-office private consultation and examination with a board-certified plastic surgeon would be the best way to fully address your specific concerns and determine the right treatment plan. I hope this helps answer your question. If it does, please take a moment to up vote this answer on the “respond” button on the top right.

Answer: Help- need advice on how to treat neck cords? = multiple options #fb #neckbands #necklift #drmesa Neck bands could be secondary to either loose neck muscle or overactive neck muscle ( platysma muscle) and or loose neck skin.Small neck bands could appear in young patients as early as 30s since thats the time period where early signs of neck aging start to show up.There are multiple options to connect the neck bands. Permanent solutions usually require a surgical procedure ( platysma band correction, neck lift, etc). Temporary corrections are based on weakening the bands caused by the neck muscle with Botox injections.Patients with very important social events ahead like a weddings, et., that choose to get surgical correction of neck bands should schedule their surgery at least 6 weeks in advance of the event. Complications can always happen. Giving enough time to recover and to deal with any potential complication will prevent significant stress due to overlapping of the healing process with the social event. Patients interested in surgical or non surgical correction of neck bands should make a consolation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon specialized in neck procedures

Answer: Vertical Neck Bands It is difficult to accurately judge your neck with the picture you provided. We all will have some banding in our necks when we turn from side to side.I can tell from your picture that it would be unlikely that you would need surgery. You appear to be skinny with a good neck line. You may want to consider non-surgical treatment to tighten the skin such as microneedling, ulthera, or titan laser.I hope this helps.

Answer: Treating Neck Cords Based on your age, desired results and short time window, I imagine the Laser Assisted Weekend Necklift is an ideal solution. This surgical procedure is intended for individuals 40-55 years old with early sagging of the upper neck and jowl area. Performed under local anesthesia with sedation, a small hidden incision is created under the natural fold and a laser/liposuction/chin implant is utilized instead of a scalpel to improve the appearance of a sagging face, howls and neck. The recovery period is only several days at which point our patients return to normal activity with little evidence of any surgery. It is difficult to understand the extent and exact location of your neck cords with the current picture. I suggest you consult a board certified facial plastic surgeon to receive the highest quality knowledge, treatment, care and skill available. A consultation provides you the opportunity to relay your concerns and desired outcome to the surgeon while the surgeon can assess your health profile and discuss his/her pertinent advice.

Answer: Neck banding treatment options Its hard to tell from your photos what the exact problem is, however, If botox didn't work, the best option would be a neck lift via a small incision under your chin. Other than that, I would have to see more photos to see what is going on. There are non invasive options such as ulthera/kybella/thermage/sculptsure etc, however, they all have specific indications, such as loose skin, excess fat, etc. If you are otherwise thin and this is purely a muscle laxity (loosening) issue, then a neck lift is the best option.
