Anything I can do to fix hip dents due to bad lipo? (Photo)

Question

I had lipo done 5 months ago and my hip dents look so bad. The dr says it’s just heavy skin. Comparing my before and after It looks like she did more than just saddlebags. Can this be fixed? I am 5” and weigh 130lb not enough fat to do fat grafting. I’m so upset when I sit I have so much loose skin when I stand the dents are so bad. I feel like she changed my shape. She cut me straight up and down :(

Thanks for the question, tough situation, I would typically do some liposhifting under local anesthesia to try and smooth things out, I have found this to work better for young people without doing fat transfer

I'm really sorry you suffered from over aggressive liposuction. I would recommend a fat transfer only to the current dents you have for added volume and a reduction of skin laxity. A consult with an experienced Board-certified plastic surgeon would be your next step. Best of luck.

fat grafting or Sculptra can help, but this often has no cure as an overaggressive procedure has left you disproportionate. Please see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I'm sorry you are going through this. You are a candidate for liposuction revision; you could see some improvement with fat transfer to the troubled area.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.
