I am considering lipo vs. a tummy tuck w/ lipo. I have my consultation next week, and already spoke with the patient coordinator on the phone but want to go into the consultation next week as fully informed as possible. The patient coordinator told me that the downtime & recovery for liposuction vs. tummy tuck w/ lipo is almost identical. This is very different compared to everything I have read and heard. I was under the impression a tummy tuck would require way more recovery time.

Ultimately, you should move forward with the surgical plan that will give you the best results, not base your plan on down time alone.
