If I don't bruise the next day after juviderme, will I bruise on day two? Or three
Answer: Bruising after injections Bruising with lip injections most often appears immediately or by the next day. There are helpful hints you can follow to minimize the occurrence and extent of bruising. Avoid aspirin, NSAIDS (ibuprofen, naproxen sodium, etc), and Vitamin E products for a week before injections. After injections you can use ice intermittently on the area. Some patients also find the use of Arnica supplements beneficial for bruising.

Answer: Bruising after lip injections Generally, bruises can show up from the day of treatment to the third day. It will not likely show up after. Most apparent bruising you can see on the day of treatment, but it is possible for bruises to appear the day after treatment as well. To reduce the likelihood of bruising, try to avoid blood thinners such as NSAIDS, Advil or aspirin, and alcohol intake a few days prior to treatment. And ice thoroughly before/after treatment for 24-72 hours. You can continue to take arnica supplements orally/topically to help minimize or break down the appearance of a bruise.

Answer: Juvederm For Lips. If I Don't Bruise The Next Day, Will I Bruise On Day Two Or Three? Thank you for your excellent question. Most bruising is apparent at the time of injection. In order to minimize the risk for bruising, I recommend that my patients avoid NSAIDS (Advil, Alleve, etc.), aspirins and fish oil for one week prior to a planned injection. After the procedure, I recommend that my patients avoid bending, heavy lifting and strenuous activities such as going the gym for 24 hours. Delayed bruising is rare but can occur for up to 72 hours after the procedure. Icing is beneficial for up to 48 hours after the procedure. Arnica is also beneficial for minimizing normal postprocedure bruising and swelling. Hope this helps and best wishes!
