As others have stated, typically we recommend taking it easy for 24-48 hours. However, the beauty of these minimally invasive treatments is that it allows people to return to normal activity fairly soon. It's always prudent to be careful and use common sense but skiing a few days after injection is most likely not problematic.

I recommend that my patients avoid bending, heavy lifting and strenuous activities such as going to the gym or skiing for 24 hours after lip augmentation with Juvederm. Please keep in mind that it will take 2 weeks to allow for normal postprocedure swelling to fully resolve and to see your final result. Lip augmentation is a procedure where filler is injected into the lips to increase volume and enhance the borders of the lips. You have to be careful with extreme hot/cold on the first day, especially if your doctor numbed your face. Two days after, you can travel, go vacation in the sun or snow, and do as you please. Make sure you follow-up with your doctor so they can track your progress to a safe and happy result. Safety comes first.
