Can I go on vacation to the snow two days after I had a syringe of Juvederm in my lips?

Injections of Juvederm fillers is a noninvasive procedure with no side-effects other than swelling and maybe some bruising. Therefore, this has no effect on your ability to go on vacation and there won’t be any effect on the results of your injections. Enjoy your vacation -- hope this helps.

Dear dina anna manziel:Yes, you can go on with your upcoming vacation 2 days post Juvederm lip injections.  Nb. Initial lip swelling after injections should subside in 7-10 days and follow up with your injector 2 weeks after augmentation.  Enjoy the snow.  Best wishes.

As others have stated, typically we recommend taking it easy for 24-48 hours.  However, the beauty of these minimally invasive treatments is that it allows people to return to normal activity fairly soon.  It's always prudent to be careful and use common sense but skiing a few days after injection is most likely not problematic.

Thank you for your question.  Your travel plans sound perfectly fine.  I recommend that my patients avoid bending, heavy lifting and strenuous activities such as going to the gym or skiing for 24 hours after lip augmentation with Juvederm.  Please keep in mind that it will take 2 weeks to allow for normal postprocedure swelling to fully resolve and to see your final result.  Please be sure to address any specific questions or concerns to your injector.  Hope this helps and best wishes! 

Lip augmentation is a procedure where filler is injected into the lips to increase volume and enhance the borders of the lips. You have to be careful with extreme hot/cold on the first day, especially if your doctor numbed your face. Two days after, you can travel, go vacation in the sun or snow, and do as you please. Make sure you follow-up with your doctor so they can track your progress to a safe and happy result. Safety comes first.
