How often does Voluma need to be "topped up" in the cheeks?

I had 3 syringes of voluma injected in my cheeks. How often would I need to go for a top up to maintain the results? How much would I typically lose in a year? Do you think 1 syringe a year is a good estimate to maintain?

Everyone reabsorbs fillers differently.  Some will have it last for 2 years while others will need it sooner.  Only time will tell how your body will use it.  For those of my patients that do come for a "maintaence" I find most usually require about one syringe. I hope that helps.

How much more Voluma and when to add it are as individual as choices on a restaurant menu.  Some patients love the lift and want more and others are content.And the rate that you lose the lift is just as variable.  Even though the company says that it lasts two years, for some people it is less and others more than that number.That's why using fillers is an art and a relationship with your doctor.  Discuss your feelings with your physician and be honest about how you feel you look and whether more filler will give you what you want or the additional cost will not give you what you expect.All of life is about relationships.  Cosmetic practice is the same.  Make sure you develop this relationship and you will be much happier.
