Is it ok to vaccinate (tetanus) after breast implant surgery?

Having a tetanus shot should not adversely effect your outcome. Although we typically recommend as little unnecessary and elective medications or treatments immediately post. The risk of tetanus in a patient who needs the immunization outlays the risks in this case.

Do not worry, if you needed the vaccine then is better to get it than to have the risk of getting tetanus. Although your breast augmentation healing process is still going on inside your breast there should not be any problem.

The tetanus injection will not interfere with your recent breast augmentation outcome. The injection is very localised and stimulates your immune system only against tetanus. All the best with your recovery.
