I have a bump and my nose looks more crooked only when I turn my head to the left? (Photos)

photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can
accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your
lower nose. You may also benefit from a cephalic rotation of your tip to turn
up your tip slightly and a conservative dorsal hump reduction.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after
pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon
and not just a computer animation system. The most important

From the limited photographs, the nose itself appears crooked, and the hump itself is asymmetric and higher on one side. The dorsal hump is composed of both bone and cartilage which must be shaved down in order to remove it. Osteotomies are required to be placed in the nasal bones to narrow and straighten them. Most patients require a spreader graft also placed on the concave side of the nose in the midportion. Thank you for writing to RealSelf.The photographs you have submitted are very helpful. You would benefit from a rhinoplasty whereby the bump on the left side is shaved down and the tip rotated up. Other refinements may also need to be made to keep the profile of the nose harmonious in all aspects and consistent with the rest of the face. It is not clear if you have had a rhinoplasty and are seeking a further correction or this is how your nose has developed. There might have been an injury to the nose in past to cause this asymmetry.

The difference in the bump and the crookedness has to do with the shape of the nasal bones and the degree and location of the bend of your nose. This is fairly common. This can be corrected with a rhinoplasty where the bump can be removed, the nose straightened and other modifications made if you want them.
