I had restalyne injected into my top and bottom lip. One side of my top lip is a little larger than the other. It's raised a bit higher and more prominent and slightly firmer. The smaller side is softer and not as full. Should I add more restalyne or get other side dissolved. Also if I add more couldn't the smaller side wind up being larger than the other after? Thank you. Before and after included .
Answer: Asymmetry following injection of fillers into the lips Thank you for sharing your concerns and posting your photograph. The easiest next step would be to fill the smaller lip. If this is performed carefully, it should match the opposite side. Make sure you have expert injectors performing your treatments.Good luck,

Answer: What to do after treatment if it is uneven The first thing I recommend is to arrange a follow up appointment with your doctor to assess and make next step plans. Filler takes 2 weeks to settle, I would not recommend having any further treatment until this time. Lips can swell between 10-20% over the first night following treatment which can distort the end result which settles in that 14 day period before review. If your lips are asymmetrical this may have occurred due to swelling at the time of treatment making it difficult to assess symmetry. It is always better to put less in and make them even at the time of treatment. If further filler is required at a second appointment this can then be administered. It is easier to add more than to take it away (although that is possibly with hyalase). Please ensure you see a qualified medical doctor for your treatments.

If you are happy with your results, then I suggest having a little more filler injected into the smaller side to help even out the lips. I recommend having a follow up with your injector for evaluation and treatment. Best of Luck!

Answer: Even up the lips If you are happy with the size of your lips then get a drop more filler and even them up. This can happen , even with the best injectors, because lips can swell while injecting making it hard to get perfect symmetry. that is why some doctors have patients come for touch up in two weeks. Tell your doctor where you want your volume and have them do a drop at a time . I would not dissolve unless you do not like the size.
