Hi @KendallMalloy. I recommend avoiding exercise for at least 24 hours after receiving dermal fillers and neuromodulators like Botox. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
It's okay to exercise after Restylane and hyaluronic acid injections however waiting 4-6 hours after injection is recommended.
I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol for exercise after fillers. I typically ask them to wait a day before exercising. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
However you should really ask the person who is injecting you. They are the one who will have to take care of you if you bruise. Over many years of experience, I have seen patients bruise profoundly after services when they work out the same day. The risk seems profoundly lower even 24 hours later.
Thank you for your question. It is best to avoid exercise for 24 hours after filler injections. Exercise temporarily raises blood pressure, which can lead to increase swelling and delayed bruising. Best of Luck!
After injections I recommend not exercising for a day. After that should be no problem Walking immediately after would be ok
Thank you for your question. I generally recommend against strenuous exercise for about 24 hours after filler injections. This is because exercise temporarily raises your blood pressure, which can lead to increased swelling and a higher risk of delayed bruising. After 24 hours, there are really no restrictions on activity. Best of luck!
Hi, I have used dermal fillers for over 30 years. Strenuous activity should be avoided for 24 hours following any "needle based" therapy which includes things like dermal fillers or Botox injections that can lead to minor, temporary swelling and bruising. The more you exert yourself, the more blood is pushed into all the tissues of your body including the face where the dermal filler was injected....leading to more swelling and possible bruising.Hope this helps.
I don't think there was any damage done but contact your physician and maybe have him take a look to reassure you
Hi I'm sorry you have an over correction. I think you want someone who has not used the dissolving agent much. Think about it? Those who dissolve much must be doing so for a reason. A good injector does not need to dissolve excessively. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)
Hi @Schestang! In many cases, 1 cc of Restylane is enough. I recommend waiting 2 weeks after your treatment to allow all swelling to subside. Always seek treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and...
