Hello,Your results from the injectable should have been immediate. I would contact your injector if you have not seen anything by now. You can take a look at our FAQ if that would help as well.
Hi Kendall,Thanks for your question. The great thing about fillers is the "instant gratification" because you can see the changes right after the injections have been done before the swelling sets in. If the swelling has resolved and you still don't see a change, most likely you need more of a correction. I always take before and after photos with my patients so we can compare the changes together and make sure the outcome was what my patient expected. I would return to the provider who injected you and discuss your concerns. Hope this helps. All the best,Carlos Mata, MD, MBA, FACSBoard-Certified Plastic Surgeon
It can take 1-2 weeks for final results with Restylane. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. For marionette lines, I recommend fillers for the lines themselves and to provide anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy and rf treatments provide skin tightening and lift, while lasers and microneedling/prp can improve texture and tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. You should see a change with fillers almost immediately. There can be some swelling, which can take up 2 weeks to resolve. If you are unhappy with your results, please follow up with your injector. Best of Luck!
