Had abdominal etching 10 months ago and left me with a crease across belly button. It really stands out to me and would like for it to be fixed. The surgeon seems to think I am making a big deal out of a tiny detail. Maybe I am but I'd rather have it fixed. Any recommendations?

Answer: VASER hi-def, abdominal etching repeat, abdominal liposuction repeat, VASER hi-def revision, revision abdominal lipo Thank you for your questions regarding a crease on your abdomen ten months after undergoing VASER hi-def for abdominal etching. Since you are ten months after the procedure, I believe most of the scar tissue is resolved. I would suggest you undergo more liposuction. Since you have already had a liposuction procedure, I would suggest using a VASER. The VASER will help to melt the scar tissue and eliminate any residual fat. Traditional liposuction may not be enough to achieve the results you are looking for. Also during the procedure, your linea alba or midline from your sternum to your belly button can be improved. In addition, the transverse inscriptions may also deserve a touchup. Thank you for your questions regarding revision abdominal etching or VASER hi-def. When considering VASER hi-def or abdominal etching, please seek an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon who has performed many of these procedures. If you have any more questions regarding abdominal etching or VASER hi-def, please contact my office. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Post abdominal etching crease. 10 months p.o. Can this be fixed? Thank you for your question and photos. The problem is not only the crease across the belly button that stands out, your results are not natural. Your gynecomastia was not addressed either, which all points to a fake suboptimal result. Your surgeon made the inscriptions where he/she thought it might be and was not based on the true muscle anatomy.Basically, I would suggest redoing the whole operation and include sculpting of the chest as well. I use the VASER Hi Def Lipo technique to achieve natural results.See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.
