Thank you for your question and photos. The short answer is both. You are still swollen, but your sculpting is suboptimal. Does not look natural. Wait 6-8 months to heal, then see a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques to redo your operation. I use the VASER Hi Def lipo technique to sculpt out the pectoralis major, anterior border of the latissimus dorsi, serratus anterior muscles, rectus abdominis inscriptions, obliques, lower back paraspinous muscles, deltoid, triceps. The fat needs to be removed both deep and superficial between the muscle groups. If it’s not done together and well, it looks fake. One can’t just draw in lines and call it “etching”. The surgeon has to follow and bring out the underlying muscles. Good luck with your healing.
hello scarlyle1994swelling is normal after the procedure but always visit or contact your surgeon about your concern. #swelling #post-op
Thank you for your questions regarding exaggerated abdominal lines and exaggerated lines around your pecs after abdominal and pectoralis etching. I believe you are still healing. You are only 7 weeks after your procedure. In addition, you mentioned swelling over your flanks. When you have swelling as you mentioned, you are still healing. It may take several months for the final results of VASER hi-def or abdominal etching to appear. Depending on the patient, technique used, and aggressiveness of the surgeon, healing times vary. I would give yourself at least another 6 to 8 weeks before deciding anything. During the interim, it is very important to continue to eat a high protein diet and exercise. Avoid salt. If you have any more questions regarding abdominal etching, VASER hi-def etching, VASER hi-def 6 pack or pectoral etching, please contact my office. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen
Sorry you have these concerns, but at only 7 weeks it is simply too early to make judgements about the aesthetics of your result. You are still swollen and simple things such as activity and dependency can influence the distribution of swelling. If you have a dominant side that you use more for activity or if you sleep on one side, at this early stage that could effect your appearance. If you have concerns, see your surgeon to make certain that you do not have any seromas, and to discuss compression, massage, or other treatments that your surgeon may favor to optimize your results.
Hello, Thanks for your question and provided information as well.. I have to say that you're still swelling and very early on healing process, if after 6 to 8 months you're not happy with your results, go on a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon experienced on Vaser Hi-Def, to Re-do your procedure. Good luck!
Although you are 7 weeks post-op, there are a few errors. However, radio frequency and aggressive massaging could improve your concerns.
Thanks for your question and sharing your pictures, Post seven weeks is early to decide the final outcome of the surgery, Swelling itself takes 3 months to completely fade off. If you have any concerns you can simply meet your surgeon.
You already have a great figure probably from healthy lifestyle choices and exercise, but high definition liposuction can improve it even more. VASER will melt the fat completely and then suck it out of the body exactly where you want it removed (in the grooves of your abdominal muscles). I urge...
Abdominal etching through liposuction is generally considered a safe procedure, and many individuals are able to resume physical activities, including training abs and engaging in athletic activities, after an appropriate recovery period. However, it's important to follow your surgeon's...
Thank you for your question. Traditional abdominal etching has various less invasive options, such as Kybella, SculpSure, radiofrequency lipolysis, CoolSculpting, or ultrasound fat removal. However, the effectiveness of these methods is limited, and significant improvements may require several...
