I am officially 4 days post op, feeling great and very happy with my results so far! I have been wearing my compression garment 23.5 hours a day (only taking it off to shower and wash it.) still a bit sore, as expected, and I am very glad to have had this week off from work in order to relax, take it easy, and recover. My one week postop appointment is scheduled for next Friday. Dr. Reddy is nice as can be and has a very pleasant voice and relaxing manner about him. You are awake for the entire procedure, so you do feel a lot of weird vibration and a little bit of poking in some areas, but Dr. Reddy was happy to give me additional numbing gel to make me more comfortable. My best friend (And post-surgery caregiver for the day) was super happy to be able to be in the room with me during the procedure, and was so impressed with Dr. Reddy, the clinic and the ease of the procedure that she wants Dr. Reddy to do Airsculpt on her as well. Here are some photos from the last few days, I will continue posting more as the swelling and bruising goes down!

Feeling pretty sore, but glad to get a shower and remove the compression garment after 48 hours! As you can see, I have some bruising, but I am a whole lot smaller than I was before! The part that I noticed the most difference already was my rib/upper/abs/back. Recovery is going well, i’m definitely glad to have the week off work to rest up and heal!

Still feeling sore, but feeling good overall! It’s GREAT to get a daily shower now!! I have some pretty wicked bruising at my lower back and buttocks region, I’m hoping that will resolve itself before I have to perform again next Friday. Tried on this costume that never looked good on me, and OMG....the before/after is insane. I love the way my results are looking so far!

I officially returned to work this week, and things have been fine! I’m having a little bit of an issue with the elastic waist band on my scrub pants digging into my incision areas, so I will probably see if I can find some larger drawstring pants for the time being. I am still wearing the compression garment with the foam abdominal board 23.5 hours a day, only removing it to shower and wash the garment. I have some weird numbness in my sides and back area where lots of fat was removed, thinking about possibly getting lymphatic massage in order to help with the numbness and swelling. Having my official one week post-op on Friday. I will continue posting updates!

Well, today is my first day returning to restaurant belly dancing, and feeling pretty good overall! I’m still swollen, so I’m hardly at my “Final Form,” but I’m pleased with my results and excited to see what I look like once I’m no longer swollen. Of course, I will have to dance without my compression garment on for the next two hours, but I plan on putting it right back on as soon as I get done. I still am having some soreness and numbness, especially in my back area, but nothing too bad. I am a little bit nervous about performing for a slightly busier crowds on Friday and Saturday night, but I will get through it! I still had some bruising, and I used several concealers as well as an airbrush foundation in order to cover them up. ***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED—35% Arnica Montana lotion from Amazon. It’s less than $20, and it has reduced the appearance of my bruises drastically in only a few days! If you are thinking about doing this procedure, do yourself a favor and order this stuff!

Hello, all! I am almost at the two week mark, feeling really great! This was my first weekend returning to dancing, and it went super! The first two nights, I used body make up to cover up what’s left of my bruises. Saturday night, I just decided to go as-is. I have definitely noticed that I look even smaller now, and would highly recommend continuing to wear the foam abdominal board under your compression garment!
