Hello all! I really need some advice on how to get over my fear of this procedure. I am more terrified of the demerol and Xanax than the procedure and this is what’s keeping me from doing it. I plan on getting the 360, arms and chin. I am not really overweight but rather have a small pudge. I went for my consultation and was told I was a perfect candidate from a surgeon I trust. I have anxiety but do not take medication as I fear the medication will make me feel weird, uncomfortable and not in control. If anyone has had this procedure done with demerol and xanax what did it feel like? Were you just calm and comfortable or did you feel weird? Updated on 27 Oct 2021: Dr. Reddy is a one of a kind plastic surgeon. I had lipo 360 with him and also had my chin, arms and armpit done. I was extremely nervous about the procedure so much that I scheduled one and couldn’t go through with it. He was patient with me and when I was ready to try again I was worried he wouldn’t take me in but that was not the case. Day of procedure his wonderful nurses gave me medication to relax me and in we went! I did feel a little uncomfortable during the procedure and Dr put more numbing solution in and was very patient with me. I am now 2 weeks post op and am very happy with my results so far. I can even fit shorts that I was not previously able to fit since I was in shape and working out with a personal trainer 2 years ago. I had one tiny bruise and the pain was manageable. In fact after day 2 I didn’t need any pain killers/ibuprofen. I can’t wait to see my results after a month and forward. So happy I did this and chose Dr. Reddy.
I am officially 4 days post op, feeling great and very happy with my results so far! I have been wearing my compression garment 23.5 hours a day (only taking it off to shower and wash it.) still a bit sore, as expected, and I am very glad to have had this week off from work in order to relax, take it easy, and recover. My one week postop appointment is scheduled for next Friday. Dr. Reddy is nice as can be and has a very pleasant voice and relaxing manner about him. You are awake for the entire procedure, so you do feel a lot of weird vibration and a little bit of poking in some areas, but Dr. Reddy was happy to give me additional numbing gel to make me more comfortable. My best friend (And post-surgery caregiver for the day) was super happy to be able to be in the room with me during the procedure, and was so impressed with Dr. Reddy, the clinic and the ease of the procedure that she wants Dr. Reddy to do Airsculpt on her as well. Here are some photos from the last few days, I will continue posting more as the swelling and bruising goes down! Updated on 3 Aug 2019: Feeling pretty sore, but glad to get a shower and remove the compression garment after 48 hours! As you can see, I have some bruising, but I am a whole lot smaller than I was before! The part that I noticed the most difference already was my rib/upper/abs/back. Recovery is going well, i’m definitely glad to have the week off work to rest up and heal! Updated on 3 Aug 2019: Still feeling sore, but feeling good overall! It’s GREAT to get a daily shower now!! I have some pretty wicked bruising at my lower back and buttocks region, I’m hoping that will resolve itself before I have to perform again next Friday. Tried on this costume that never looked good on me, and OMG....the before/after is insane. I love the way my results are looking so far! Updated on 6 Aug 2019: I officially returned to work this week, and things have been fine! I’m having a little bit of an issue with the elastic waist band on my scrub pants digging into my incision areas, so I will probably see if I can find some larger drawstring pants for the time being. I am still wearing the compression garment with the foam abdominal board 23.5 hours a day, only removing it to shower and wash the garment. I have some weird numbness in my sides and back area where lots of fat was removed, thinking about possibly getting lymphatic massage in order to help with the numbness and swelling. Having my official one week post-op on Friday. I will continue posting updates! Updated on 8 Aug 2019: Well, today is my first day returning to restaurant belly dancing, and feeling pretty good overall! I’m still swollen, so I’m hardly at my “Final Form,” but I’m pleased with my results and excited to see what I look like once I’m no longer swollen. Of course, I will have to dance without my compression garment on for the next two hours, but I plan on putting it right back on as soon as I get done. I still am having some soreness and numbness, especially in my back area, but nothing too bad. I am a little bit nervous about performing for a slightly busier crowds on Friday and Saturday night, but I will get through it! I still had some bruising, and I used several concealers as well as an airbrush foundation in order to cover them up. ***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED—35% Arnica Montana lotion from Amazon. It’s less than $20, and it has reduced the appearance of my bruises drastically in only a few days! If you are thinking about doing this procedure, do yourself a favor and order this stuff! Updated on 11 Aug 2019: Hello, all! I am almost at the two week mark, feeling really great! This was my first weekend returning to dancing, and it went super! The first two nights, I used body make up to cover up what’s left of my bruises. Saturday night, I just decided to go as-is. I have definitely noticed that I look even smaller now, and would highly recommend continuing to wear the foam abdominal board under your compression garment!
Just had Liposuction pressure with Dr. Reddy and his fantastic team. From consultation with Dr. Reddy, who is always at hand to answer any of my questions with great professionalism. I knew after years of research I’d found the right place. Surgery day I was anxious to say the least but soon as Dr. Reddy meet me, he made me feel at ease and I just went with the flow. The atmosphere in the surgery is very relaxed but extremely professional and Denise is brilliant taking her time with her part of the service. Dr. Reddy followed up with me after the surgery, to make sure that everything was ok. I’m so glad I chose Dr. Reddy, And I can't thank you him enough! please do not hesitate if your thinking of getting it done.
Dr. Reddy is a true genius! He is extremely gifted in body sculpting. I felt a sense of confidence right from the beginning. He is a patient listener and identifies the correct procedure immediately. I am under 5 feet tall and had an 11 lb baby. Needless to say, there was a lot of work that needed to be done. I am two weeks post op and my whole life has changed. I am truly blessed to be a patient of Dr. Reddy. Do not waste your time in searching for a surgeon when it comes to the most important investment of your life- your body. Dr. Reddy is a perfectionist and a great communicator. He will deliver results. Trust me. My self-confidence has sky rocketed. Thank you Dr. Reddy.
I have been seeing various healthcare professionals for cosmetic procedures over the last 10 yrs (fillers, botox). I've been to at least 7 providers, and Dr. Reddy is by far the best. He is calm and methodical about what your desired outcome is and your treatment options. His philosophy is to ameliorate the ravages of time according to your specific genetics, NOT to impose youthful "stereotypes" - the result is a natural, subtle yet more youthful appearance, If you would like to look like a younger version of yourself, and NOT like some weird, Real Housewives plumped up plastic surgery victim, please see Dr. Reddy.
I work with dermatologists and plastic surgeons for my job which gives me the inside track on which doctors are most respected for different procedures. I chose Dr. Reddy to do my fillers because he has a fabulous reputation for creating a natural and youthful look with fillers. He was very familiar with all the different brands and types of filler and was able to customize a treatment that would be appropriate for my specific features and concerns. The outcome was a very natural look, just more lifted and youthful. As a bonus, I didn't have any bruising or swelling and was able to go right back to work without looking like I had anything done. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to get fillers.
I have been undergoing treatment with injectables for years and consider myself quite savvy when it comes to the topic. I stopped by the Reddy Aesthetic Institute on a whim as it’s conveniently located on street level and has a very welcoming lobby. At my first appointment, I found Dr. Reddy to be extremely knowledgeable and super professional. His explanations and concepts of facial fat compartments and the aging process were new to me. I was particularly interested in how he thought about the pesky nasolabial fold (the line from the nose to the corner of the mouth) which he explained had to be unfolded instead of filled. This requires lifting of the upper face instead of slamming fillers into the cheeks. He was careful to explain how to avoid the dreaded filler face. I had a non-invasive brow lift with Radiesse and I’m amazed at the results -- also something no other injector had offered me. I will be returning to have my lips done before the Holidays. Overall, I’m really impressed and my experience at RAI has changed what to expect from injectables in the hands of a skilled professional.
I’m a 60 year old nurse and felt it finally was time to treat myself. I knew Dr. Reddy from a Trauma Hospital where I worked and had frequently heard about some of the amazing reconstructive work he did (think re-attaching body parts etc). Although I didn't know him very well from the hospital, I always found him to be polite and friendly so I decided to see him for a consultation at his Midtown office. I also learned that Dr. Reddy is one of the few surgeons in the country that completed additional training in Breast Surgery. Dr. Reddy was the consummate professional and carefully listened to my concerns. Based on my goals, he offered several options for face lifting. I was concerned that having both procedures done at the same time might be too much but he reassured me that it would be safe. I saw him a few more times to discuss his recommendations before deciding to proceed with surgery. My surgery was at Northside Hospital and I was discharged the same day. I saw Dr. Reddy the next day to change the face lift dressing and remove small drains from behind my ears. I did experience some mild discomfort for 2-days but overall I was surprised at how little pain I experienced. I had no bruising and returned to work in 2-weeks. I’m very pleased with the results and everyone at work commented on how refreshed I looked and wanted to know where I went for my “vacation.” I love my new breasts and am thinking of having liposuction of my abdomen. Dr. Reddy was a great choice. I do not think I could have found a better trained and skilled surgeon for my cosmetic procedures.
I am so glad I found Dr. Reddy. Dr. Reddy took his time, answered all my questions and addressed my concerns in a very professional manner. HIs office is impeccable and his staff are amazing. Best experience yet in Atlanta!
56 yr old. Original breast augmentation with silicone 1987, revision with saline in 2000. Breasts were always assymetrical regardless of how other Drs tried. The latest implants were saline, hard, and very ripply. Dr Reddy performed miracles and created a lifted capsule with my own tissue, which finally, for the first time in my life, created beautiful, natural, symmetrical breasts. I am constantly amazed at their beauty. I cannot be more emphatic about his talent in doing what no others could. My first surgeon was Garth Fischer of LA. His ability to discern what was necessary in order to accomplish the perfect shape and size, and his bedside manner, and the way he really listens and cares all make Dr Reddy a rare gem.
The pulling in the lower abdomen will improve over tome as the healing tissue remodels. Wound remodeling is a normal part of the healing process and occurs in the direction of applied tension. It may take up to 1-year for a wound to remodel.
A properly performed lower body lift restores shape to the gluteum by correcting ptosis (drooping). This is achieved with “auto-augmentation” of the gluteum. Simply pulling the skin tight during lower body lift will flatten the bottom as you have observed.
Generally, local anesthetics are safe in pregnancy. I would be sure to verify this with your Plastic Surgeon as choices of local anesthetics may vary from surgeon to surgeon.
Arm lift, or brachioplasty, May be safely performed under local anesthesia or conscious sedation. Usually, the tumescent solution used in the liposuction portion of the case provided adequate pain control to perform the skin removal as well. Please be sure that your procedure is performed at an accredited surgical facility.
There are different versions of mommy make overs and each mommy make over is tailored to the client’s goals.Mommy makeover refers to correction of changes commonly associated with post-partum (after babies) changes and generally address the breasts and abdomen. The most common treatment is a breast lift and tummy tuck. However, you may achieve restoration of your pre-pregnancy body with various forms of liposuctionand fat transfers as well.Liposuction May be safely combined with a TT and BA if that is your goal. I would recommend consulting with a Board Certified PS in order to determine the best course of treatment based on your goals.
