From your profile view it looks like you have some loose skin and possible mild excess neck fat. Your front view also shows some jowls. Here are my recommendations:1) you don’t need a chin implant, you have a strong chin2) neck lipo can work to improve your contour but you may still end up with some loose skin, even though skin does contract after lipo. The benefit of lipo alone is that it can be done through very small incisions under the chin and behind the earlobes3) you can tighten loose skin after lipo with radio frequency energy devices such as Renuvion (my preference) or SkinTite, again through small incisions 4) but the most thorough treatment would be a formal lower face and neck lift as that removes excess fat, tightens the muscle layer under the skin, and then tightens the skin itself, removing excess skin. This now involves incisions that go around the ear and back into the hairline. Bigger operation, but you get more thorough, satusfying, and longer lasting result. Hope that helps. Discuss all options with an experienced surgeon who specializes in the face. All the best!
Thank you for sharing your photographs and seeking advice on potential treatments for the concerns regarding your neck and jawline. Based on the details and images you’ve provided, here is my opinion on the options of neck liposuction, chin augmentation, and a neck lift:In your case, neck liposuction might not be the most suitable option. This is because the superficial volume of fatty tissue in your neck appears to be thin. The volume that needs to be addressed is situated deeper, beneath the platysmal muscles. Additionally, liposuction alone would not correct the skin laxity you’re experiencing.Regarding chin augmentation, it appears that your chin projection is good. The characteristics of your neck, such as the presence of submandibular glands and digastric muscles, may make your chin appear less prominent than it actually is. Therefore, chin augmentation might not be necessary.Given your concerns, I believe a deep plane neck lift intervention would be the most effective solution. This procedure can address the contour of both your neck and jawline, providing the improvements you’re looking to achieve. By reducing the deeper structures and the skin laxity, a deep plane neck lift can offer a more comprehensive enhancement of your overall profile.
Hi from Istanbul, thanks for this question. A neck lift surgery could effectively improve the contours of your neck. However, considering the interconnectedness of facial features, I would recommend complementing the neck lift with a facelift surgery. This approach is particularly beneficial as the jowl area also contributes to the overall appearance and would enhance the results you're seeking. Best of luck to you!
Hello, hope you are well. Based on the photos that you have attached, the best option would be a face- and neck lift. This can very effectively reduce the skin redundancy that is visible in your central neck (under the chin) as well as the jowling of your lower face. I think you would be disappointed with the results of a chin implant and/or neck liposuction.Best,Dr. Tower
Hello, on your photos there are two main problems. One of them is sagging on your neck (also called turkey neck) can be corrected with a necklift operation. But also you have a jowl problem. Adding a facelift operation will correct this problem and with face and necklift operation together give more harmonious result to you. Deep plane face and necklift technique can be chosen for you.
You have an excellent facial structure and your chin projection looks beautiful. You did not appear to have a great deal of excess fat in your neck, and skin elasticity decreases with age, therefore liposuction of your neck would not be a reasonable option. I do note a small amount of irregularity of your jawline and some platysma muscle relaxation in your neck. Both of these would be corrected with a lower face/neck lift, and would be a long-standing correction for you. Best wishes.
Based on your side profile photographs and your age, you're going to require a lower face and neck, lift procedure. This accomplishes tightening loose facial and neck skin, tightening loose facial and neck muscles, removal of the fat deposits in your neck with liposuction, and lifting the jowls. A platysma plasty is also performed which significantly improves your jawline.
Based on your nicely posted photos, I recommend a mini face neck lift with SMAS plication. Fee $8000. Best to virtual consult with.
Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and...
You definitely don’t look like you need a neck lift. I suggest you move forward with your scheduled cranial facial surgery and then give yourself plenty of time to heal up before considering more surgery. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
Sure, we can go in and release and scarring or overly tight muscles. That should not be too hard to achieve, though that is dependent upon this being the actual cause of your tightness.
