Hi, thank you for sharing your question. The best way to determine whether a lift is needed would be an in person evaluation. Based on the photos, you’re a great candidate for breast augmentation and may be able to avoid a lift.

Thanks for your question! I'm afraid that adding an implant will just make your breasts look fuller but still droopy. I would suggest waiting until after children and then do it right with a lift and implants. Good luck!

Best way to correct sagginess is a breast lift. You may loose 1/2-1 cup size in that process and for that reason you may consider small implant augmentation. That will provide longer lasting result as well. Good luck.

The technique I recommend is a lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.

Thanks so much for reaching out. Correct, It looks like if you have an implant alone it would lead to a not ideal result. You will still have sagging breast tissue hanging off of the front of the implant. However, using a lift at the same time and implant will give you a fantastic result. I know you mentioned you don’t want to have a lift until after you have children, but a lift will give you great breast, shape, and positioning. I hope this helps :-)

You’ve got a nice breast shape. Depending on your expectations, if you want a far larger breast, you can get breast implants alone without a lift. However, if your goals are more modest in size, most likely you would benefit from a minimal incision breast lift/mastopexy such as a Benelli or a nipple lift.

From your photo it appears you will need a lift. Implants alone will not be able to produce the lifted look with upper pole fullness that you are wanting. If you like the volume you have but want more upper pole fullness you may want to consider auto augmentation. This is a lifting procedure that uses your own tissue to give upper pole fullness. I've included a video that I hope you find helpful.

To answer your question, no your breasts are not too saggy for an implant, however, it is more about where that implant will sit in relation to your breasts. Without a lift, you will likely have an implant that sits too high on the chest wall and the breast and nipple will “water-fall” over the implant. More commonly you may want to have an implant in addition to a lift or a lift alone and see if that would provide you with enough fullness and roundness to your breast so that you feel comfortable with that look.
