Is it true that you can't lay on your side once you get implants? Also, do you have to wear a bra? I read in a group that you should never go without a bra. My goal is to only wear one if i chose too.

Answer: Is it true that you can't lay on your side and have to wear a bra once you get implants? Many surgeons will ask you to sleep on your back during the healing process following breast augmentation. Most will allow you sleep on your side once an appropriate period of time has passed. Wearing a bra regularly is recommend whether you have implants or not. Bras help to counteract gravity and reduce the tendency for breast to sag over time.

Answer: Breast Implants - Requirements? After about 6 weeks, I cannot think of a reason not to lay on your side after gel breast implants. Although every surgeon has their own protocol after surgery, in my experience of 18 years, bra use to support the implant is usually started after the implant has settled a bit. Once the implant is in position, then I strongly recommend locking it in with a good supportive bra for 6 months. After that, I leave it up to you as to how much bra support is comfortable. All the best!

Answer: No Initially after surgery you will want to sleep on your back with your head elevated and a bra 24/7. Once you are healed you may sleep however you are most comfortable and wear a bra as you see fit.
