The mommy makeover is one of my favorite surgeries to perform in my New York City and New Jersey offices. I get to help new moms prioritize their needs after spending so much time focusing on the needs of others. A woman’s body changes drastically during pregnancy and after childbirth. It can be marked by loose skin and loss of firmness in the abdomen and breasts. Unfortunately, these are issues that no amount of diet or exercise can remedy. With a mommy makeover, I can help a woman regain her pre-baby body by customizing a series of procedures that will result in a firmer, more contoured look. While each mommy makeover will be different, they usually consist of some combination of a tummy tuck, liposuction, breast augmentation, and a breast lift. I work with each patient to tailor the treatment to her body and create her ideal result.

For those patients who are unhappy with their breast size, or have undergone changes in their breast volume or shape due to weight loss, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or age, I offer a variety of breast enhancement options in my New Jersey practice. Breast augmentation, which involves inserting silicone or saline implants to increase the size of the breasts and refine their shape, is a popular procedure—and I have studied and perform the latest techniques, including dual plane augmentation. For women who are experiencing sagging or less firm breasts, a breast lift may be an ideal option to raise the chest and create a more youthful-looking bust.

Hip & Butt Enhancement

A Brazilian butt lift (BBL) is a popular procedure at my Northern New Jersey offices, as it helps create an ideal contour for the body. During the procedure, I use liposuction to harvest unwanted fat from the thighs, hips, and back, and then I transfer it, via injections, into the butt to create a more rounded shape and add projection, giving the buttocks a fuller, more lifted look. After receiving his MD from Rutgers University Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Tutela completed his residency in General Surgery at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of Manhattan, then went on to become General Surgery chief resident at Yale New Haven Hospital at Yale University.

Following his residency, he completed a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Louisville Hospital in Kentucky and a postdoctoral research fellowship with a focus on wound healing at New York University-Langone Medical Center, Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Microvascular and Tissue Engineering Laboratory.

Dr. Tutela is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2015 West Orange Doctor’s Choice Award Winner in Plastic Surgery.
