I am a 67 yo female, seen by my board certified plastic surgeon today. I am 125lbs, 5' 4" and made the decision of a modest 375cc moderate profile implant. I measured 13 cm and 34 width. My question is should I request moderate plus profile instead of the straight up 'moderate'? I do not want my breasts to look flattened or spread out, however, I do not want them to look like I had half sized soft balls inserted either. looking for a natural look.

Answer: Moderate vs moderate plus Thanks for your question! Each implant company has different profiles, so there is a chance that if your surgeon uses Allergan, there may not be a "moderate plus" profile. I would express your concern to your surgeon and then together, you can select the best implant for you. Good luck!

Answer: Moderate vs Moderate plus If I remember correctly, there is not a huge difference in terms of dimensions when you are looking at a moderate vs a moderate plus profile. Typically the difference in projection varies from a few millimeters to a centimeter. These differences dont really add up to a huge difference in real life. If I were you I would ask the surgeon to look at both types of projections and to get the dimensions for you so that you can see the actual difference between the implants. Rest assured that both the moderate and moderate plus profile implants are great implants and in the right patient can real give a more natural appearing augmentation because the implants aren't as aggressive as a high profile, ultra high, full profile, etc.
