My stats are 161cm 53kg and was measured with a 12.5cm chest, this will be my first BA and there isn’t much tissue to begin with maybe a 34A.. I’m stuck between going 310mini or 320/340 demi all motiva.. going off motiva sizing chart would 11.75cm demi not look right in a 12.5 chest? And between those sizes do you think there is a considerable difference or am I really looking to much into it? Want to keep them quite small but also see a difference Thankyou

Answer: Implant size Dear Irvingcharlotte, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Thank your for your excellent question. It is clear that you have done your homework. Congratulations for your thorough and thoughtful preparation for your breast augmentation. As you know, an examination in person would be required to properly evaluate you and make specific recommendations. That said, an 11.75 cm implant may indeed be a proper size for a breast with a BWD of 12.5 cm. Please be aware that there can be differences in measurement based on the technique used and the person measuring. You also appear to have some breast asymmetry, which is in fact very common and not unusual, but it may require two slightly different size implants. Rather than you taking on the onus of selecting your implant, please leave that final decision to your plastic surgeon. What you should do is provide photos of women's breasts you wish to strive for and your plastic surgeon will determine which specific implant is most likely to achieve your desired final outcome. Best of luck to you.
