Thank you for your question regarding if you qualify for an inner and outer thigh lift. Based on your history and pictures, you have excess loose skin that can not be corrected with further liposuction. I do not believe other techniques without surgical incisions would significantly improve your thighs. Therefore, I think a thigh lift is your only solution. Regarding your outer thighs, in examining the picture from the left where you're lifting the outer thigh, I suggest a hip lift or an outer thigh lift. This is done through an incision from the posterior abdomen towards the buttock. It is in the area you are pinching; this lifts the outer hip and the outer thigh. This is called a hip lift, and the excision is in the shape of a crescent, but this scar should be hidden under reasonable clothing. Regarding the inner thigh, you provided a picture where you pinch the inner thigh. Therefore, I would suggest an inner thigh lift. Several forms of thigh lifts include the crescent, spiral, T-incision, modified longitudinal vertical, and longitudinal medial thigh lift. If your inner knees bother you, I will carry the incision from the groin to the knee. If the upper third of the thigh bothers you, I suggest either the crescent lift or the modified vertical longitudinal thigh lift. During the crescent thigh lift, a crescent area of skin and fat is removed in the upper inner area, a third of the thigh. During the modified vertical medial thigh lift, an incision is made from the groin partially down the inner thigh to the point where it stops bothering and extends several inches to remove the dog's ear. The inner thigh lift and the outer thigh lift can be combined in the same procedure. These procedures are performed under general anesthesia under the guidance of a board-certified anesthesiologist. These procedures in my practice are performed on an outpatient basis; however, two nights at the recovery center are required. Drains would be required and would remain for about 1-2 weeks. A garment will also be necessary for six weeks. I hope these answers help to clarify what to do with your inner and outer thighs after liposuction. I specialize in thigh lifts. I hope that I have answered your questions regarding the thigh reduction.
